Samsung Galaxy A16 5G available in US in just $199
Samsung Galaxy A16 5G smartphone has launched in the US with a large, bright display, decent camera specs, 6-Gen OS update support, and more at an affordable price. You will be getting a 5G-powered handset for just $199 in the US. The Koran tech giant unveiled the dynamic handset on January 02 and will soon join the official sale. Samsung has launched the Galaxy A16 phone with impressive parameters. The device features a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED panel with a 1080×2340 pixels resolution. It has a 90 Hz refresh rate and 800-nit peak brightness.
For the camera, the smartphone houses a triple-cam setup including a 50MP primary lens (f/1.8 aperture, Digital Zoom up to 10x) and a 5 MP ultrawide with f/2.2 aperture, a 2 MP macro camera with f/2.4 aperture at the rear side. There is further a 13MP selfie lens for clean and clear facial shots.
The Galaxy A16 5G appears in two colors: Blue Black and Light Gray color options. It equips Samsung’s own Exynos 1330 chipset with a 5nm process technology. The processoer is paired with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage to provide you with decent performance. The device gets power via a 5000mAh battery that supports 25W charging capability.
Galaxy A16 comes pre-installed with One UI 6.1 based on Android 14 and will receive six major Android updates and security updates. The phone does have expandable storage, though, which is something you don’t see much anymore.

Samsung has pushed the October 2025 security update for the Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22 Plus, and Galaxy S22 Ultra smartphones. This update is already out for users of some Galaxy smartphones.
The October 2025 security update for the Samsung Galaxy S22 series is currently available for users in Southeast Asian markets. The company plans to expand the update to more regions soon.
Users of Samsung Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22 Plus, and Galaxy S22 Ultra are getting the fresh update with One UI build versions S901EXXUCGYJ1, S906EXXUCGYJ1, and S908EXXUCGYJ1, respectively.

Breaking: Samsung resumes Galaxy S24 and S23 Android 16 One UI 8 update rollout!
Samsung has resumed the One UI 8 rollout for Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S23 users in Korea. After a brief pause to fix initial bugs, the tech giant has started rolling out the much-awaited update, bringing a new user experience to its flagship lineup.
The One UI 8 update weighs over 298.31 MB, with versions ending with CYJ3 for Galaxy S24, and Galaxy S23 is getting the EYJ7 version, as well as the October 2025 security patch
The Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S23 devices are receiving the update notification. Galaxy users can check for the update via Settings > Software Update. Samsung advises ensuring a stable Wi-Fi connection and a sufficient battery before installing.
