Galaxy S21 FE getting January 2025 update
Samsung is now rolling out January 2025 software update for Galaxy S21 FE and it comes with new security improvements.
The update package includes important security patches released in January 2025 for improved system security. Additionally, the Galaxy S21 FE phone users waiting for the long-awaited One UI 7 software upgrade, alongside other devices.
Galaxy S21 FE getting January 2025 update in the US
Samsung is sending the January 2025 update with G990USQSEGXL4 for Galaxy S21 FE smartphones in the US and it brings common improvements for the device owners that improve the user experience.
January 2025 security patch addresses 32 vulnerabilities. It fixes 24 high and 5 critical-level CVEs, protecting your devices from every security threat.
The tech giant further resolves the around 22 Samsung-specific patches that can harm your personal data or freeze your device, making it abnormal for daily.
As always, the update is rolling out in batches and may take some to reach all of the Galaxy S21 FE with One UI 6.1. Note that the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE is currently available on AT&T and Dish Wireless networks in the US, this security update fixes dozens of security loopholes that were discovered in the previous software. If the update doesn’t appear in the notification panel, we suggest you to go the Settings menu.

Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Flip 7 price leaked
According to the new inputs, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 should be priced the same as the Z Fold 6 at launch, i.e. €1,999 for 256GB, €2,119 for 512GB, and €2,359 for 1TB. Furthermore, in Europe, the 256GB Galaxy Z Flip 7 will be €100 cheaper than its predecessor and will be available for €1,099 instead of €1,199. The 512GB Galaxy Z Flip 7 variant should cost €1,219 instead of €1,319.
In short, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 will likely retain its price in Europe compared to the 2024 model, while the Galaxy Z Flip 7 should be cheaper than the Flip 6 at launch.

Samsung has reportedly started developing One UI 8 for the Galaxy A56 smartphone. The company has already released an Android 16-based One UI 8 Beta for Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25 Plus, and Galaxy S25 Ultra.

According to Alfaturk, Samsung Galaxy S22 Plus and Z Fold 5 smartphones have appeared with One UI 8 and Android 16. The Galaxy S22 Plus and Galaxy Z Fold 5 have achieved single-core scores of 1466 and 1995 and multi-core scores of 3000 and 5055, respectively. We can expect significant performance improvements with the next major update.
It offers a glimpse into what consumers can expect from Samsung’s next software for Samsung Galaxy S22 Plus and Z Fold 5 smartphones. Notably, One UI 8 is going to be the last OS upgrade for the Galaxy S22 series and the second-to-last update for the Z Fold5 and Flip5.
