Samsung Galaxy M35 is the first M series phone to get February 2025 update
Last week, Samsung detailed the February 2025 security update, which fixes over 40 security issues. Now, the company has started rolling it out to the Galaxy M35, which makes it the first Galaxy M series from the South Korean tech giant to get the February 2025 security update.
The latest security update has already been rolled out for the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S24, Galaxy S23, and Galaxy S22, as well as the Galaxy Z Fold 6, Flip 6, and Galaxy Z Flip 5.
Currently, Samsung is rolling out the February 2025 security update to the Indian variant of the Galaxy M35, which has the model number SM-M356B. Plus, the company will expand it to more devices soon. Samsung Galaxy M35 smartphone users can verify the latest security patch through One UI build version M356BXXS4AYB3. The installation package size of this update is around 300MB.

The Galaxy M53 is getting the January 2026 security update in Korea with the firmware version M536SKSSCGYL1. The Galaxy A06 4G is receiving it in Thailand, Malaysia, and Vietnam with version A065FXXS9CZA1.
Samsung’s January 2026 security patch includes up to 55 security fixes provided by Samsung, Google, and other partners. These fixes help protect the Galaxy phone from bugs, security risks, and any issues that might affect user privacy or performance.
