Galaxy A56 5G, Galaxy A36 5G, and Galaxy A26 5G launched with first-ever Awesome Intelligence, advanced camera features, and enhanced durability.

The new Galaxy A series includes Galaxy A56 5G, Galaxy A36 5G, and Galaxy A26 5G. The Galaxy A56 5G model comes in four colors: Awesome Lightgray, Awesome Graphite, Awesome Olive, and Awesome Pink. 

The Galaxy A36 5G model is available in four shades: Awesome Lavender, Awesome Black, Awesome White, and Awesome Lime. The Galaxy A26 5G version also has four colors: Black, White, Mint, and Peach Pink.

The new Galaxy A series equips a display of 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED screen. These screens further support a 120Hz refresh rate, Vision Booster, and up to 1200 nits brightness levels, allowing for a more vibrant and immersive entertainment experience.

The Galaxy A56 5G model has a triple-camera system at the back with a 50MP main camera (f/2.8 aperture, OIS), a 12MP ultrawide-angle macro lens (f/2.2) with autofocus, and a 5MP Macro Camera F2.4. It supports a 12MP selfie sensor on the front.

Galaxy A36 5G features a triple-cam setup on the rear side with a 50MP primary shooter, a 5MP  Macro Camera, and an 8MP ultrawide-angle snapper. It supports a 12MP front selfie lens.

Now, let’s talk about Galaxy A26 5G: the phone sports a triple-cam setup on the rear side with a 50MP main camera (f/2.8 aperture, OIS), an 8MP ultrawide-angle macro lens (f/2.2) with autofocus, and a 2MP Macro Camera F2.4. It supports a 13MP selfie sensor on the front.

 Galaxy A56 5G equips an Exynos 1580 chip, a mobile processor from Samsung that includes an NPU, CPU, GPU, and camera support. Meanwhile, the Galaxy A36 5G variants install a  Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chip with Qualcomm Kryo CPU speeds up to 2.4 GHz and up to 10% better CPU performance, over 30% improved Qualcomm Adreno GPU. All three models are pre-installed with One UI 7 (Android 15).

Pricing and Availability

The Galaxy A36 5G starts at $399.99 and is available in Awesome Black and Awesome Lavender colors, while the Awesome Lime color will be exclusively available at Best Buy starting March 26. The Galaxy A26 5G starts at $299.99 and will be available in Black starting March 28. The Galaxy A56 5G will be available later this year at a starting price of $499.99.

Samsung is rolling out the first update for Galaxy A56 users. The latest firmware has some useful improvements for the Samsung’s most feature-packed mid-range phone of 2025.  The update optimizes the system’s stability for better performance. It also has new fixes for hidden issues of the tablet.

April 2025 security patch marks first update for Galaxy A56

Now, the company is bringing the first update for the Samsung Galaxy A56, which brining the April 2025 security patch in Thailand. The firmware is rolling out with the One UI A566BXXS2AYD3 version. It also has a package of 500MB. It is better to use a stable Wi-Fi connection for installation.

This initial update improves tablet performance by addressing security issues and enhancing system stability. The latest security patch ensures your device’s data and files remain secure, while system optimizations provide a smoother and more reliable experience.

Note that the update is being released in batches and may take a few days to cover all the regional units. Until then, you can go to System Settings and perform a manual installation if a new version is available.

Samsung Galaxy S23 may receive One UI 7 next week

So far, Samsung has delivered the One UI 7 firmware update to a few flagship Galaxy devices. However, network carriers in Canada now revealed the One UI 7/Android 15 update release date for the Samsung Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23 Plus, and Galaxy S23 Ultra smartphones.

Samsung One UI 7 is based on the Android 15 operating system, which brings notable changes to the usability and software appearance of the device. Samsung’s custom Android skin brings many new and useful features to your Galaxy as well as significant changes to the user interface.

According to Telus’ support page, the Android 15-based One UI 7 update will roll out to the Samsung Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23 Plus, and Galaxy S23 Ultra in Canada on or before April 22, 2025. As always, the new software will also feature a new security patch for improved device reliability.

Samsung Galaxy A55 gets Android 15-based One UI 7 Beta 2 update

Samsung has recently started releasing the stable version of Android 15-based One UI 7.0 for the Galaxy S24 smartphone after testing 5 beta updates. Now, Samsung is rolling out the One UI 7 Beta 2 update for the Galaxy A55 smartphone.

Based on Android 15, the One UI 7 Beta 2 update for the Samsung Galaxy A55 smartphone comes with One UI build number A556EXXU7ZYD3 and is currently available only in Korea. Users will have to download a 336.14 GB package to install the update.

This update fixes various bugs and issues reported in the previous beta version. Apart from this, the changelog mentions that this update fixes the issue of poor visibility when checking the Now bar Google Sports.

Also, it fixes an issue that could not be added to MMS emoticons on a particular route. It resolves the top notification icon to be SIM shape when receiving eSIM push notifications

Furthermore, the update brings the April 2024 security update to improve system security and stability. If you are testing One UI 7 beta on your Galaxy A55 smartphone, install the update to enjoy error-free and enhanced functions.
