Samsung has launched several Galaxy devices, including flagship, mid-range, and budget smartphones and tablets. Yesterday, Samsung launched three Galaxy A series phones, including the Galaxy A55, Galaxy A36, and Galaxy A26, which come with One UI 7. As expected, Samsung is already working on a rebranded version of its latest premium mid-range smartphone, the Galaxy M56. Now, Samsung Galaxy M56 will launch soon as it gets Bluetooth SIG certificate.

According to the new information, the Galaxy M56 has completed the Bluetooth SIG certification ahead of its launch. At the same time, the supporting document reconfirms its model number i.e. SM-M566B_DS.

Other than the model number, Bluetooth SIG certification didn’t reveal such info regarding its specifications of design aspects. However, the tipsters already exposed some of its key specifications, such as 45W charging, 50MP selfie camera, Snapdragon and Exynos 2100, and more.

April 2025 security patch marks first update for Galaxy A56

Now, the company is bringing the first update for the Samsung Galaxy A56, which brining the April 2025 security patch in Thailand. The firmware is rolling out with the One UI A566BXXS2AYD3 version. It also has a package of 500MB. It is better to use a stable Wi-Fi connection for installation.

This initial update improves tablet performance by addressing security issues and enhancing system stability. The latest security patch ensures your device’s data and files remain secure, while system optimizations provide a smoother and more reliable experience.

Note that the update is being released in batches and may take a few days to cover all the regional units. Until then, you can go to System Settings and perform a manual installation if a new version is available.

Samsung Galaxy S23 may receive One UI 7 next week

So far, Samsung has delivered the One UI 7 firmware update to a few flagship Galaxy devices. However, network carriers in Canada now revealed the One UI 7/Android 15 update release date for the Samsung Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23 Plus, and Galaxy S23 Ultra smartphones.

Samsung One UI 7 is based on the Android 15 operating system, which brings notable changes to the usability and software appearance of the device. Samsung’s custom Android skin brings many new and useful features to your Galaxy as well as significant changes to the user interface.

According to Telus’ support page, the Android 15-based One UI 7 update will roll out to the Samsung Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23 Plus, and Galaxy S23 Ultra in Canada on or before April 22, 2025. As always, the new software will also feature a new security patch for improved device reliability.

Samsung Galaxy A55 gets Android 15-based One UI 7 Beta 2 update

Samsung has recently started releasing the stable version of Android 15-based One UI 7.0 for the Galaxy S24 smartphone after testing 5 beta updates. Now, Samsung is rolling out the One UI 7 Beta 2 update for the Galaxy A55 smartphone.

Based on Android 15, the One UI 7 Beta 2 update for the Samsung Galaxy A55 smartphone comes with One UI build number A556EXXU7ZYD3 and is currently available only in Korea. Users will have to download a 336.14 GB package to install the update.

This update fixes various bugs and issues reported in the previous beta version. Apart from this, the changelog mentions that this update fixes the issue of poor visibility when checking the Now bar Google Sports.

Also, it fixes an issue that could not be added to MMS emoticons on a particular route. It resolves the top notification icon to be SIM shape when receiving eSIM push notifications
