Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Flip 3 grab December 2024 security update
Samsung has released the December 2024 security update for the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3. However, this patch isn’t available in all counties right now. Currently, it is available only in the US and Europe and can be released to other regions soon.

The carrier-locked version of Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3 in the US has started getting the December 2024 security update. It comes with One UI build version F926USQS9JXK9 and F711USQSAJXK9, respectively. It is available only on T-Mobile and Verizon networks right now but should be available on other carrier networks soon.
This update is also available for the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3 in Europe as firmware versions F926BXXSAIXK9 and F711BXXSBIXK9, respectively.
As per the official support page, the December 2024 security patch included in this update solves over 40 security vulnerabilities found in the previous version of the software. Out of these vulnerabilities, it fixes 6 Critical and 28 high-level CVEs as well as 8 Samsung vulnerabilities and Exposures items.
In addition to this, this update improves system stability and security to keep your files and data safe on your Galaxy devices. Since this patch is only a security update, it doesn’t bring any major changes and improvements.
The tried generation foldable will get the One UI 7 update next year, and that will bring many new features and enhancements. Samsung plans to release the stable One UI 7 update next month alongside the Galaxy S25 series.

A new report talks about the display size, battery capacity, thickness, and launch date of the Galaxy Z TriFold. The device will retain a 6.5-inch outer display and a 10-inch inner display, and a thickness of 4.2mm when folded and 14mm when unfolded.
Additionally, the Samsung Galaxy Z Trifold may feature a 5,600mAh battery. Furthermore, the tipster states that Samsung will launch this phone on December 5, 2025. However, the Korean tech giant is bringing flagship-grade features to its first model. With these upgrades, the Galaxy Z TriFold has a good chance of selling well in the market.
Samsung will launch the Galaxy Z TriFold later this year. It may come with Android 16-based One UI 8.5 pre-installed. With seven years of software support, it will beat the Galaxy S25 lineup with an additional OS upgrade at last.

Galaxy S26 with Exynos 2600 could have vastly improved camera capabilities
The Samsung Galaxy S26 series is already making headlines, and the biggest talking point is its massive camera upgrade. Recent information revealed that the ISP of the Exynos 2600, suggesting that it may enable improved camera capabilities on the Galaxy S26 series.
Furthermore, according to several leaks and rumours, Samsung is going to present the Galaxy S26 and Galaxy S26+ with the Exynos 2600 chipset instead of Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 in most regions around the world.

According to well-known tipster @SPYGO19726, the Exynos 2600 on the Galaxy S26 series has an image signal processor (ISP) that can handle a single 320MP camera or three 108MP cameras simultaneously.
Moreover, in burst mode under the Galaxy S26, it can take 30 108MP RAW pictures per second, and for HDR pictures, it can combine five frames.

As per the well-known tipster, @PhoneArt, Samsung has increased the Galaxy S26 Ultra’s front camera’s field of view (FOV) to 85 degrees. As per another report, Samsung could only include the Exynos 2600 in the base and Plus models, and will equip the Ultra model with Qualcomm’s mobile Application Processor.
