Breaking: One UI 7 Beta update is coming to select devices this month
Recently, a rumor surfaced that Samsung will start rolling out the One UI 7 beta update for select Galaxy devices in March, with the stable one arriving in April. Since then, anticipation for the update has been building, as Samsung has taken longer than usual to bring the latest version of One UI to supported devices.
But the wait ends tomorrow. Samsung has confirmed that the One UI 7 beta update will start rolling out globally on March 06! Furthermore, Samsung said it plans to release a stable version of One UI 7 in early April 2025.
As per the information, One UI 7 beta update will be available for the Galaxy Z Fold6 and Z Flip6 in India, Korea, the U.K., and the U.S. starting March 6, and will roll out to more devices within the month.
Following the Galaxy Z Fold6 and Z Flip6 tomorrow, Samsung will open the One UI 7 Beta Program to several Galaxy phones and tablets, including the Galaxy S23 series, Galaxy Tab S10 series, and Galaxy A55.
Samsung hasn’t said when it plans to release One UI 7 for devices other than the latest flagship phones and tablets. We expect most eligible devices to start receiving the update in April, and we’ll let you know when we have more information on the matter, so stay tuned.
Unfortunately, long development times may become standard practice for One UI updates in the future. Well, at least if the company plans to introduce new Galaxy AI features on a regular basis. Thankfully, it doesn’t look like new AI features will arrive with One UI 8.
