Circle to Search now offers two new features on Galaxy S25
Last year, Google launched Circle to Search with Galaxy S24 as a new way to search for anything on your phone without having to switch between apps. Now, Google’s Circle to Search adds two new features for the latest Galaxy S25 flagships.
At the first Galaxy Unpacked event of 2025, Samsung launched the Galaxy S25 series, meanwhile, Google announced that it is rolling out two new features to Circle to Search. With the Galaxy S25 series, Samsung has made it even better by adding AI Overviews and One-Tap action. Let’s explore it.
Circle to Search now offers two new features on Galaxy S25: AI Overviews and One-Tap action
Samsung is introducing a new Circle to Search feature called AI Overviews. It can now provide more kinds of visual search results, including places, trending images, and unique objects. AI Overviews for even more visual searches on Circle to Search so you can quickly and easily see a snapshot of information about your search with links to learn more from across the web.
One-tap actions is another Circle to Search feature that is debuting with One UI 7 and Galaxy S25. It can now recognize contact numbers, email addresses, and URLs, and provide you with options to call those numbers, send an email to those email addresses, and visit those URLs, which makes it easier for you to perform those tasks.
At the moment, there is no word from Google about whether the updated Circle to Search is available only for the latest Galaxy S series or for older Galaxy phones and other Android devices as well. Although it is currently available only on the Galaxy S25, we expect Google to introduce it for other smartphones later.

How to join One UI 8 Beta Program
To join One UI 8 Beta Program on your Galaxy devices, you need to follow these steps:
- Download the Samsung Members application first from the Galaxy Store or Google Play Store.
- Open the app on your eligible device and log in with your Samsung Account. If not, create one.
- Select the “Registration for One UI Beta Program” in the home banner or notices page to register.
- Complete and submit the application form.
How to download and install One UI 8 Beta
Once you complete the registration procedure, your device will deliver you a new software update.
On your device, go to “Settings > Software update > Download and install”. The beta software is installed.
Note:
- One UI Beta Program will be available only for specific devices, OS versions, and countries.
- Eligible Samsung Galaxy devices get it turn by turn and compatible devices vary by country.
- One UI 8 feature can vary depending on the Galaxy device enrolled in the beta version.
- It is highly suggested to back up your data on your computer with Smart Switch before installing the beta software, as it may result in data loss.
Users of the Samsung Galaxy A54 smartphones in the US are finally getting the One UI 7 update based on Android 15. Now, they can enjoy new features on their Galaxy devices after installation.
Samsung has already rolled out this big update for Galaxy A54 users in several countries, including South Korea, Europe, and some Asian countries and the company is about to roll out this big update for these devices. This means that all phone models of the Galaxy A series are going to get this major update.
The One UI 7 update introduces several new features and modifications that enhance the overall Galaxy experience. Additionally, the update installs the May 2025 security patch on the Galaxy A54 phones.

Days after kicking off the One UI 8 Beta, Samsung closed new enrollment in the US. The Beta Program devices are the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and Galaxy S25 Ultra. The Program is available in Germany, Korea, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
Two days ago, Samsung confirmed that both the Galaxy Z Flip7 and Galaxy Z Fold7 will come with stable One UI 8. This means that users of these Galaxy foldable devices will enjoy all the new features right out of the box. After that, Samsung will gradually release the update for more Galaxy phones and end the beta program.

AdamJMatlock on X noticed that the new One UI 8 beta enrollment for the Galaxy S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra has closed in the US. This means that the Samsung Members app is no longer accepting new registrations and is informing users that the beta program has reached its capacity. Now, you have to wait for the program to reopen to register.
In addition, Samsung Members is the key to unlock the One UI 8 beta program. The beta program banner is shown on the home page of the app. Clicking on the beta banner takes you to a short process to finish the registration.
Just like One UI 7 beta registrations, One UI 8 beta registrations crossed the line within a few days of the program’s official launch. This is not surprising news, as Galaxy fans have been eagerly waiting for the Android 16 beta software ever since the stable version rollout for Pixel devices.
Until then, you have no official opportunity to get the latest update on your Galaxy S25 series. Manually flashing the OTA is a solution to get it right away. However, we don’t suggest doing this on your primary Galaxy device as it may cause data loss.
