Expert RAW 24MP Samsung camera

Samsung’s Expert Raw app offers enthusiasts a great camera experience just like the Apple iPhone. Now, it seems like Samsung might soon make it easier to take 24MP photos on the Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S24 series by adding an Expert Raw feature to the main camera app.

Currently, the Expert Raw app allows Galaxy S24 and S25 series owners to shoot 24MP photos via the main camera. However, a Samsung representative on the company’s Korean community forum has confirmed that the brand may consider bringing the Expert Raw 24MP mode to the main camera app. This happened after several users on the forum asked Samsung to offer a 24MP mode in the default camera app.

For your information, let us tell you that Apple iPhones allow you to take pictures in 12MP and full resolution as well as 24MP resolution. This technology combines pixel-binning, advanced multi-frame processing, and smaller file sizes from 12MP mode with the high detail of full resolution mode.

If this happens, it will be easier for users to take high-quality 24MP photos without any extra steps. This will be more convenient for content creators who want to quickly take great photos without the need for any additional apps.

However, the Galaxy S25 Ultra has a 50MP ultrawide camera and a 50MP 3x shooter, so the company could technically bring Expert RAW 24MP shooting mode to these cameras as well. Well, that’s why the company seems to be considering offering the 24MP mode in the stock camera app too.

Although there is no official information about whether this feature will come or not, it is clear that Samsung is considering it. Stay connected with us for further details.
