First Galaxy S25 Ultra durability test shows camera ring reality
The Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra features a new design for the camera setup as well as improved functionality. Every time a new Galaxy flagship is unveiled, experts put it through all kinds of tests. The most painful of those tests are undoubtedly durability test, and the first one for the Galaxy S25 Ultra is now online on the YouTube channel JerryRigEverything.
The Galaxy S25 Ultra has several design changes: it has a titanium frame and the display is now flat with rounded corners. The display is also protected by the new Gorilla Glass Armor 2, which has times better scratch protection than the S24 Ultra.
Popular tech YouTuber Jack Nelson posted a durability test of the Galaxy S25 Ultra. Despite various tortures (heat, scratches from sharp metal objects, and dust), the phone worked just fine. The frame of the foldable phone is made using improved titanium, which is slightly stronger than the previous version. It performed quite well when facing Jack’s box cutter blade.
Moreover, he has revealed a new durability test on the new Galaxy S25 Ultra. He took a full tour of the device, including a scratch test on the titanium frame and volume buttons, revealing the difference in the materials used.
