Galaxy S21 is getting the March 2025 security update

The March 2025 update is now making its way to Samsung Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21 Plus, and Galaxy S21 Ultra smartphone users. The company has posted the newest bug fixes as well as safety improvements with the latest software rollout to ensure the healthy performance of the device.
Such software treatments offer new enhancements to make Galaxy devices more reliable and convenient. Meanwhile, users have their eyes set on the big upgrade that One UI 7 offers and the question is whether they will get the offer.
While the stable distribution of the next One UI version for the S21 series is still a long way off, the company is rolling out the March 2025 update for the Samsung Galaxy S21 series smartphone.
The changelog reveals that Samsung Galaxy S21 series device owners can identify the latest firmware with the One UI version G99xNKSS8GYC1. It further brings a software package that weighs around 500 Megabytes. We recommend using a stable Wi-Fi connection for installation.
In terms of availability, the update is currently rolling out in Korea. However, the company won’t take long to introduce the latest security fix to more regions. You can check out the security change here.
The respective update takes care of privacy exploits and provides the device with the ability to fight harmful issues and malicious threats. Plus, it protects your data from flaws that lead to data leaks and system crashes, affecting the user experience.
You can download this software update by going to Settings > from here tapping on Software Updates and then tapping Download and install to get the latest firmware details.

Leak says Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge to launch by May or June

Earlier reports said that Samsung will likely launch the Galaxy S25 Edge slim phone in April. Now, a report states that the Galaxy S25 Edge is expected to unveil next month (May) instead of this month, but the exact date is unknown. Several leaks have led to speculation about the Slim phone’s possible release timeline.
According to a report by ETNews (via @Jukanlosreve), the Korean tech giant has decided to postpone the launch of the Galaxy S25 Edge. Samsung had planned to launch the S25 Edge in April, but now the slim phone has decided to postpone it to May or June.
Also, there is news that Samsung is not going to hold a big launch event for the Galaxy S25 Edge. Instead, the device will be announced at an online event, similar to the Galaxy Tab S10 FE series, where the price and launch date of the phone will be revealed.
The phone will be available in three colors and two storage configurations. Under the hood, it will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, paired with 12GB of RAM and Android 15-based One UI 7.x OS.
In terms of optics, the S25 Edge will have two cameras, including a 200-megapixel primary and a 12-megapixel ultrawide. The selfie camera on the slim phone will be 12 megapixels, just like the other Galaxy S25 models.

Galaxy A36 5G gets its first update with system improvements

Samsung is rolling out the first update for Galaxy A36 5G users. The latest software update brings some useful improvements to the device. It optimizes system stability for better performance. The update also fixes some of the phone’s hidden issues.

Now, the company is bringing the first update for the Samsung Galaxy A36. The firmware is rolling out with the One UI A366USQU1AYBB version. We suggest keeping sufficient storage for uninterrupted installation.
The Korean tech giant is expanding the reach of the new security fixes to more devices. So, be patient, as you will get this update soon.
