Wi-Fi 7 is the latest standard and its appearance on devices in 2023, but Samsung jumped on this tech with Galaxy S24 Ultra in 2024 and later expanded to more Galaxy devices. All Samsung Galaxy S25 series including Galaxy S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra might feature advanced Wi-Fi 7 technology.

All Galaxy S25 to enjoy faster Wi-Fi 7 tech: FCC

FCC (Federal Communications Commission) certification of Samsung’s next Galaxy S series flagship phone confirms spots of the flagship hardware, the Wi-Fi 7 (Wi-Fi 802.11be) in the US.

With the FCC certification, we assume that Wi-Fi 7 will be the standard feature on all flagship Samsung smartphones in 2025 starting with the Galaxy S25 series. In addition to the Wi-Fi technology, the Galaxy S25+, and the S25 Ultra feature an Ultra-wideband (UWB), but the standard version might lack the tech.

FCC certification also revealed some other key details of the Galaxy S25 series such as 5G, Dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GNSS, NFC, and (S-Pen limited to Galaxy S25 Ultra produced by Wacom).

In terms of charging, the Galaxy S25+ and Galaxy S25 Ultra support 45W fast charging, while, Galaxy S25 continues to feature 25W fast charging.

Wi-Fi 7

Samsung introduced Wi-Fi 7 technology with the Galaxy S24 Ultra and later expanded it to the Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition and Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra. However, the Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24+ do not use Wi-Fi 7; the reason is that the Exynos 2400 chip that powers them in most countries is limited to Wi-Fi 6E.

On the flip side, the recently launched Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6 also don’t support Wi-Fi 7 tech but reasons not revealed, as it feature a Snapdragon 8 Geb 3 for Galaxy.

Thanks to Qualcomm FastConnect Community System, Wi-Fi 7 offers high speeds, lightning-fast downloads, seamless streaming, smooth gaming, and low latency to deliver top-notch performance.
