Samsung Gemini Apple Intelligence

Recently, Apple launched the iPhone 16e, which features the faster performance of the A18 chip, Apple intelligence, great battery life, and a 48MP 2-in-1 camera system – all at an incredible value. Now, according to reports Apple is about to follow Samsung approach by integrating Gemini into Apple intelligence on iPhones, iPads, and Macs.

As Samsung fans, you might know that some AI features on Galaxy smartphones and tablets are powered by Google’s Gemini, while other features are powered by Samsung’s in-house Galaxy AI models.

Recently, developer Aaron Paris discovered that the code of iOS 18.4 beta includes both Google and OpenAI as third-party AI model options for Apple Intelligence and Siri. This hints that Apple might copy Samsung approach by integrating Gemini into Apple Intelligence on iPhones, iPads, and Macs in the future.

Additionally, Apple uses in-house and OpenAI’s AI models to power AI features on the iPhone, iPad, and Mac. Now, it integrating Gemini into Apple Intelligence.

This is no surprise, as at WWDC24, Apple software executive Craig Federighi mentioned in an interview that they would like to offer integration with other AI models, including Google’s Gemini.

The favorite Android UI of top creators at India’s largest tech roundtable 2024 presented by Trackin Tech is One UI, more specifically One UI 7.

In the video, Arun Prabhudesai trolled Apple saying that announcing a feature six months before the AI feature launch, then launching a feature six months after that, and then launching another feature two months after that, is unproven nonsense. Meanwhile, Shlok Srivastava says that Samsung has done something good with the Galaxy AI feature developed by itself.

Google and Samsung are yet to release Android 17 and One UI 9 Beta for Pixel and Galaxy devices. Meanwhile, Google is working on a Universal Clipboard for Android phones and PCs, with Android 17. This means Samsung’s One UI 9 could bring universal clipboard to Galaxy devices.

According to Android Authority, Android 17 includes a feature called UniversalClipboardManager. This tool appears inside Google’s continuity framework, which transfers copied content between Android devices without a third-party tool

Samsung’s current cross-device features, like Quick Share, Samsung Flow, and Phone Link, do not offer built-in clipboard syncing. Fortunately, that could change in next year’s One UI 9 update, as Google is working on a Universal Clipboard for Android phones and PCs.

If Samsung follows the One UI 8 schedule, One UI 9 is expected to arrive alongside the Galaxy Z Fold 8 and Galaxy Z Flip 8 in mid-2026. If Google implements Universal Clipboard in Android 17, Samsung will likely add it in One UI 9.
