Major Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra camera update will fix glitch issue
The Galaxy S25 Ultra has the best camera specs of all the Samsung S series models, with a 50MP ultra-wide lens, which is better than the Galaxy S24 Ultra’s 12MP. On the other side, the Galaxy S25 Ultra smartphone users are facing the weird banding in low-light photos with the camera and will fix this issue next update.
Some users on Reddit and Samsung’s community forum have recently reported a rather weird glitch in night-time shots. The problem is different for photos taken in night mode, which show noticeable horizontal or vertical bands. However, some images also show that the disturbance can also occur indoors and is not limited to views of the night sky. Apart from the Galaxy S25 Ultra, some users have reported a similar experience on photos taken with the Galaxy S25 Plus.

Meanwhile, Samsung has finally come out to acknowledge the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra camera issue – and an update fix is coming very soon.
The good news is that Samsung is aware of the issue and says: We are aware of a limited number of cases where images appear blurred when taking photos in Night Mode on Galaxy S25 Ultra, and have issued a fix to resolve in the next software update rolling out starting this week.
For your information, today Samsung started releasing the first update with the February 2025 security update for the Galaxy S25 series along with Camera, Charging, and call improvements. So, if you facing weird banding in low-light photos with the camera on your Galaxy S25 series phone, this latest update will fix it.

Galaxy S26 with Exynos 2600 could have vastly improved camera capabilities
The Samsung Galaxy S26 series is already making headlines, and the biggest talking point is its massive camera upgrade. Recent information revealed that the ISP of the Exynos 2600, suggesting that it may enable improved camera capabilities on the Galaxy S26 series.
Furthermore, according to several leaks and rumours, Samsung is going to present the Galaxy S26 and Galaxy S26+ with the Exynos 2600 chipset instead of Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 in most regions around the world.

As per another report, Samsung could only include the Exynos 2600 in the base and Plus models, and will equip the Ultra model with Qualcomm’s mobile Application Processor.
