One UI 7 bring new customizable lock screen, iOS effect
Samsung has prepared some new upgrades for the Android 15-based One UI 7 and new information reveals that there is a new lock screen customization for Galaxy users but it seems like a mass development of iOS.
According to the findings of Meeco,kr (via Tarun Vats), One UI 7 will introduce new customizable lock screen features to Galaxy users. This is a brand addition and allows you to swing a bit more customization options that users who love to personalize their phones will enjoy.
The shared screenshots give us deep insights into what the function actually looks like. As per the leaked images, Samsung One UI 7 could adopt revamped lock screen Widgets, NowBar, and Edit Clock Screen.

The last screenshot reveals that One UI major update could adopt a revamped lock screen media player UI, which may inspired by Apple’s iOS 18, which occupies a large portion of the lock screen.
In addition to lock screen customization, the upcoming One UI version will bring brand-new Quick Settings and a Notification panel. As per the leaked release timeline, Samsung could launch the One UI 7 beta in mid-December.
Plus, the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, and Galaxy S24 Ultra will be the first devices to get the Beta program in South Korea, Germany, and the US in the first phase. The stable version of the major update will introduced along with the Galaxy S25 series launch.
