One UI 7 Lock screen Notification

One UI 7 beta program is officially announced by Samsung and it comes with various new features.  These are designed to provide a new user experience for Galaxy phones and tablet owners and improvise the entire One UI smartphone user experience.  But do you know that One UI 7 also carries a Lock screen Notification customization? Today we’re up to see what changes the company made to the  Lock screen Notification section in the latest upgrade.

One UI 7 Lock screen Notification

One UI 7 allows Galaxy users you manage their alerts with three different options right from the Lock screen with your device’s notification settings. These options include: Dot, Icons, and Cards. You can pick whichever one fits your style best.

Additionally, when you select the icon or dot, you can tap on the notification icon or dot at the top left on the lock screen to expand the card notifications. But if you’re not a fanatic of the change, just choose Card View. Also, luckily, you can hide notification details on the lock screen.

Last but not least, you can now choose to show only “warning” notifications and keep silent notifications invisible.

One UI 7: How to change lock screen notification style

From your device’s Settings, swipe to Notifications and then tap Lock screen notifications. Tap the switch at the top to turn on lock screen notifications. From here, you can customize the available settings to your preference:

  • Here you can choose between three different styles: Dot, Icons, and Cards!
  • Show content or Hide content: Choose the options you want for your notifications. If you select Show content, you can choose which apps show lock screen notifications by tapping the Settings icon to the right.
  • Show alerting notifications only: If this feature is enabled, silent notifications will not appear on the lock screen.

Additionally, Samsung has made significant changes to the notification panel with One UI 7, making it easier to manage your notifications and quick settings. The notification card now comes with a more modern look and rounded edges along with a nice blur engine. These notifications look more polished and visually appealing than the previous UI.
