During SDC24, Samsung disclosed that the stable version of One UI 7 will introduced next year, along with the launch of the most-awaited Galaxy S25 lineup. Once the official version is available for the 2024 flagship smartphone, the Korean tech giant will release this update for more Galaxy devices including the Galaxy A series phones.
However, the One UI 7 beta could be opened for some Galaxy A series devices next year.
One UI 7 features
Recently, Samsung Spanish’s website published the One UI 7 page by replacing the One UI 6 section with a stronger focus on Galaxy AI, with “AI powering every step” and a sophisticated new look.” Based on the Android 15, One UI 7 will bring new icons, a smart notification center, and a new lock screen with a quick view of ongoing activities.
The updated page also highlights lots of Galaxy AI features including Circle to Search with Google, Sketch to Image, Live Translate, AI Zoom, Live Effects, and more.
Notable, Samsung removed the One UI 7 webpage and the original URL now redirects to Samsung’s home page.
Samsung hasn’t announced the One UI 7 beta program yet. The Korean tech giant is focusing on the stability of its major software with One UI 7. Therefore, the company has decided to delay the launch of the One UI 7 beta update to give end users more stable and reliable software. However, we expect that we will hear good news soon in the coming weeks.
