Samsung  Galaxy S21 FE has been spotted on Geekbench running One UI 8-based Android 16. This smartphone will be one of the phones in the Galaxy FE series to get Android 16, which is set to bring new features and improvements to the device.

According to the tipster, the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE with One UI 8 has scored impressively on the benchmark, with a single-core score of 1269 and a multi-core score of 3700. These scores suggest the Galaxy S21 FE will offer amazing performance to handle everyday tasks and multitask easily.

Samsung’s One UI 8 beta will be available to more Galaxy devices, delivering smarter, more convenient AI experiences through multimodal capabilities to several users, the company announced Today, 5 August 2025.

Samsung extends One UI 8 beta to Galaxy S24 series, Galaxy Z Fold6, and Galaxy Z Flip6 next week

According to the Korean giant, the One UI 8 beta programme will be for the the Galaxy S24 series, Galaxy Z Fold6 and Galaxy Z Flip6 in India, Korea, the UK and the US starting from next week, rolling out to more devices within the September including the Galaxy S23 series, Galaxy Z Fold5, Galaxy Z Flip5, Galaxy A36 5G, Galaxy A55 5G, Galaxy A35 5G and Galaxy A54.

Samsung added that the official update of Android 16-based One UI 8 will come to users within September. Galaxy users can apply to join the beta program via Samsung Members.

Initially, Samsung introduced the One UI 8 beta with the Galaxy S25 series in May, and Samsung will release the official version of One UI 8 in September, incorporating valuable feedback from the beta program participants.

@UniverseIce has now revealed the charging and camera specifications of the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra. The tipster has indicated that the device will feature a new camera setup, which will come with an HP2 sensor and an f/1.4 aperture lens. This could be a big change from the Galaxy S25 Ultra, which had an f/1.7 aperture.

Furthermore, the tipster suggests that this new camera will let in about 47% more light than the Galaxy S25 Ultra camera. Similarly, a tipster on Weibo says that the Galaxy S26 Ultra can charge around 75-80% in 30 minutes. That is, 0 to 50% in about 15 minutes, 80% in 30 minutes, and 100% in 45 minutes.

Speaking of the battery, the device may bring a 5000mAh large capacity cell with 60W wired charging support. It is unclear if Samsung will feature the wireless charging capability on the respective gaming handset.

Samsung has not confirmed anything on this latest leak. However, we might hear an official announcement after the launch of the upcoming digital series.

Weibo tipster @MysteryLupin revealed that the Galaxy S25 FE model will feature a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a refresh rate of 120Hz. It will have Kunlun Glass support and Gorilla Glass Victus with an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance. Hence, this phone will weigh 190 grams, which is lighter than the Galaxy S24 FE that weighs 213 grams. This reflects Samsung’s continued focus on making thin and light devices.

Marking confirmation on previous input, the post reads that Galaxy S25 FE will power a Samsung Exynos 2400 chipset with 12GB of RAM. In terms of the internal configuration, the device will pack a 4,500mAh battery, support for 45W wired and 15W wireless charging.

Galaxy S25 FE will be equipped with a triple-camera setup featuring 50-megapixel, 12-megapixel, and 8-megapixel sensors. In addition to the Galaxy S25 FE, the Korean tech giant is also set to launch its first Trifold phone and XR headset later this year.
