Samsung Galaxy S25 now grabs February 2025 patch in India and Europe
Samsung has released the February 2025 security patch with a new One UI 7 software update for the Galaxy S25 5G smartphone users. The update is appearing in the Indian market and will expand gradually. The latest security update is currently available for Galaxy phone in Korea and the company will soon expand it to more countries. This is an early rollout so it may take time to reach all models.
Along with the regular updates, the company is also speeding up the development of One UI 7 for its flagship models. Finally, we will soon bring you the good news of the One UI stable version and other rollout details.
Talking about the update, users can identify the latest February 2025 security patch for the Galaxy S25 5G handset with version S931BXXU1AYB4. Moreover, you will have to compromise 666.08 MB of storage space to install the firmware.
According to the changelog, the update only contains the recently released security patch and no new changes to the system. We would still suggest you install the software for the following reasons:

Samsung has started rolling out the January 2026 security update for more of its budget and mid-range phones. Now, two more devices, Samsung Galaxy M53 and Galaxy A06 4G, have joined the January 2026 security update.
The Galaxy M53 is getting the January 2026 security update in Korea with the firmware version M536SKSSCGYL1. The Galaxy A06 4G is receiving it in Thailand, Malaysia, and Vietnam with version A065FXXS9CZA1.

This latest update is available in Germany, India, South Korea, the UK, and the US, and will be released in more countries soon. The update includes several important fixes and improvements to enhance the overall user experience, as well as carries the January 2026 security patch along with battery life improvements and some additional fixes.
One UI 8.5 Beta 3 can be identified via the PDA build version ending with ZZA3. It’s hitting the Galaxy S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra in Beta markets.
