While Samsung is all set to hold its upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event on January 22, 2025, leaks about its upcoming Galaxy S25 series smartphones have started to surface. A new piece of information reveals the sale and delivery dates of the Galaxy S25 in India.
Apart from the standard sale and delivery dates of the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and Galaxy S25 Ultra, the memory configurations and color variants of the three smartphones have also been revealed.

According to tipster Ishan Agarwal (@ishanagarwal24), Samsung will start regular sales for its Galaxy S25 series of smartphones in India around February 9, 2025, which is almost three weeks after its official announcement on January 22, 2025.
The tipster also suggested in the same post on X, that “early” deliveries for customers who pre-booked these handsets would begin “as soon as February 03” with regular sales (in stores) starting later in the same week.
Sadly, there is no information on when Samsung will start taking the pre-order window and when it will close. For your information, let us tell you that the brand usually starts taking pre-orders for the new Galaxy S series device soon after the launch event, which means Samsung might open pre-orders for the Galaxy S25 in India on January 22, 2025.

Samsung starts preparing One UI 8.5 for Galaxy S26 series?

Samsung has reportedly started testing a new version of its One UI software for the upcoming Galaxy S26 series, which could be One UI 8.5. The first news has recently surfaced online, showing that Samsung is working on the software for its next flagship Galaxy S series phones.
A reliable tipster has claimed that Samsung has started working on One UI 8.5 for next year’s Galaxy S series phones. This means the upcoming Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26 Plus, and Galaxy S26 Ultra could launch with One UI 8.5 software.
However, Samsung has not officially confirmed the release of One UI 8.5 yet, so we should take this information with a pinch of salt. Still, it’s clear that the Galaxy S26 series will feature a new version of One UI.

Samsung Galaxy S24 FE 5G starts receiving a new One UI 7-based update with the June 2025 security patch. The firmware is rolling out to limited smartphone users in the home market, South Korea. Although the company may soon initiate a broader software release.
The One UI 7 June 2025 security patch fixes a dozen vulnerabilities. It targets bugs hidden in the device system and ensures that private data remains secure. The firmware also fixes flaws that could allow malware to enter the phone.

One UI 8 Beta 2 brings Real Time Text (RTT) on Galaxy S25

Galaxy S25 series owners have joined the One UI 8 beta program. Samsung rolled out One UI 8 beta 1 in four countries last week. Now, Samsung’s beta participants are enjoying the use of One UI 8 beta 2. Samsung’s One UI 8 beta 2 also packs things that the brand hasn’t mentioned in the changelog, one of them is Real-Time Text.
According to @MKarakachanov, One UI 8 Beta 2 for the Galaxy S25 brings a feature called Real Time Text, and is an accessibility feature located in Phone Settings.
As per the information, One UI 8 Beta 2 Real-Time Text (RTT) allows you to have a text conversation during a voice call. RTT is often used to communicate with people who are hearing or speech impaired.
Plus, the other person can see every letter you type in real time. You can erase and make changes, but the other person will be able to see what you changed. Additionally, RTT calls have audio as well as text. If you don’t want the other person to hear you, you can mute the microphone during an RTT call.
To use RTT, you need to be connected to a 4G or 5G network or use Wi-Fi calling. Moreover, RTT calls cost the same as normal voice calls.
