Samsung released One UI 8 Beta 4 for Galaxy S25 series

According to the info, Samsung is rolling out the One UI 8 Beta 4 to Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25 Plus, and Galaxy S25 Ultra in the  US, UK, Germany, and South Korea, with India and Poland starting as well. The update weighs over 126568 MB and bears PDA build version ending with ZYGB.

Samsung Galaxy S25 series users! Here comes another beta firmware for your flagship smartphones. The company has released the One UI 8 beta 4 for the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and Galaxy S25 Ultra devices with some enhanced functions and the latest improvement patch.

The changelog of the fourth One UI 6 beta mentions fixes for bugs related to Talkback for calls, iNavi dashcam editing, smarter Galaxy AI replies, faster Bixby routines, polished lock screen, and smoother fingerprint sensor, as well as making core apps like Camera and Gallery run smoother with fewer crashes, focusing on reliability rather than flashy features. Samsung has also listed some known issues that are yet to be fixed.

Bugs that have been fixed

  • Added an emergency update feature for Samsung IMS Service.
    • A pop-up or notification may appear to request user consent for IMS service update and restart.
  • Supports full-screen switching while playing videos when using DeX
  • Fixed operation error of Galaxy Al Reply Suggestions
  • Improved loading issue when Bixby routine commands are triggered via voice
  • Improved display issue in the quick launch icon area on the lock screen

  • Fixed an editing error with iNavi dashcam videos in the Gallery app
  • Fixed an issue where the message ‘Fingerprint sensor not responding’ appeared on the lock screen
  • Fixed outgoing call failure when attempting swipe call from the Contacts list with TalkBack enabled
  • Improved flickering issue of the central vertical/horizontal level gauge when switching from front to rear camera
  • Software stability enhanced through updates to several apps

Galaxy S25 users running the One UI 8 Beta 3 can now install the latest Beta update by navigating to System Settings, followed by Software update, and Download and install.

Samsung’s One UI 8 presents a stylish and cool feature for the lock screen, an Adaptive Clock, which moves around the people or pets in your wallpaper. Meanwhile, One UI 8.5 leaks have been flooding the internet over the past few days. Now, a report suggests that Samsung may introduce three new lock screen clock styles in the upcoming One UI 8.5 version.

SamMobile has shared three screenshots of the One UI 8.5 lock screen. These images show a horizontal layout. In fact, this is a horizontal version of the new clock style added with the One UI 7.0 update.

The Android 16-based One UI 8.5 is rumored to launch next month. However, there’s no concrete evidence or developments for the same. Samsung hasn’t announced its plans for One UI 8.5.

One UI 8.5 is packed with a number of exciting updates. This new software will officially launch with the Galaxy S26 series next year, but leaked builds have already announced upcoming changes.

Samsung Galaxy S24 gets Stable One UI 8 in Europe following Korea

Samsung has calmly begun rolling out stable One UI 8 globally to Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, Galaxy S24 Ultra, and Galaxy S24 FE users. This comes just a week after the initial release in South Korea. Users around the world will receive this new software update gradually, starting in Europe.

The Android 16-based One UI 8 update is rolling out first to Galaxy S24 series users who have participated in the beta program. However, non-beta users can also check for the update on their devices, as it will be available soon.

This update, Bearing PDA version number ending with CYI7, and S24 FE with CYI5, One UI 8 OTA includes the September 2025 security patch as well. Meanwhile, the Korean tech giant is making sure Galaxy users not just get new features and UI tweaks, but also improved system security.

Additionally, the One UI 8 update brings new personalization features and wallpaper style options to Samsung phones. There’s also a new adaptive lock screen clock style for select models, which creates a vibrant feeling every time you open the screen.

In One UI 8, several Samsung apps have also received an improved design compared to the previous version. This new design aims to improve the user experience, with navigation now more streamlined, making it easier to navigate on your Galaxy phone.

Samsung Galaxy A36 gets Stable One UI 8 following Beta Program closure

With Stable, Samsung has now concluded the One UI 8 Beta Program for the Galaxy A36 5G in Samsung’s home market, South Korea.. The Beta participants have started getting incremental software update, which replaces the Beta firmware with a Stable build.

Owners of the Galaxy A36 5G smartphone in South Korea are getting the Stable One UI 8 update. The major firmware bears PDA build version A366NKSU2BYI9 and is rolling out first to those who have participated in the Beta Program last month.

As the Korean model is beginning to receive the One UI 8, it should soon be expanded to Indian users who have also had an opportunity to join the Beta Program. The  Galaxy A56 and Galaxy A36 are the two mid-range devices in the One UI 8 beta program, making it a priority for Samsung.

This ensures a polished experience when the stable version arrives. Check Settings > Software Update to see if One UI 8 is ready for your device.

If you’re not in the Beta program, the stable One UI 8 update will bring these exciting Android 16 features to your Galaxy A36 5G soon. The Global expansion will take place sequentially, so it’s advised to be patient as the rollout progresses.

This update brings new personalization features and wallpaper style options to Samsung phones. It also brings design improvements that are noticeable in everyday use. However, don’t expect Galaxy AI to be included, as it’s still limited to flagship phones.
