Galaxy Tri-Fold

In a surprise turn during Samsung’s Galaxy Unpacked event on January 22, the tech giant teased its latest innovation – a tri-fold foldable smartphone in its pipeline of future products. While earlier speculations suggested that the tri-fold would be the highlight of the event apart from the Galaxy S25 Edge (Slim), the unveiling teased a brief tease video that gave a glimpse of the design of the Samsung Tri-Fold.

Samsung is apparently planning to bring a Tri-Fold Galaxy smartphone.

The teaser showcased the tri-fold in an elegant drawing shade in addition to sharing a brief slideshow with plans for future product lineups in foldable, AR VR, smart glasses, and more.

In the teased slideshow, you can clearly see that the slideshow includes a tri-fold shape and it is certain that the Samsung phone also has the same mechanism as the dual fold in the previous phone. Hence, both are different.

As the Galaxy Unpacked event was focused on the Samsung Galaxy S25 series of smartphones, the Tri-Fold tease added an element of surprise and anticipation. Although the exact launch date and detailed specifications are yet to be revealed, industry speculations suggest a potential introduction later this year, possibly after the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7. People can stay tuned to Sammy Mobiles for all the latest updates.
