Samsung files upload Gemini

On January 22, Samsung launched the Galaxy S25 Ultra, Galaxy S25+, and Galaxy S25, setting a new standard as a true AI companion with the company’s most natural and context-aware mobile experiences yet. Also, the good news is that in collaboration with Samsung and Google, the Galaxy S25 comes with six months of Gemini Advanced for free.

Although it sounds great, users can do a lot more with Google’s GenAI Assistant on the Galaxy S25 series if they get a paid and more advanced version of it, the Gemini Advanced at the purchase price.

In a press release yesterday, Samsung announced that those who purchase the Galaxy S25 series smartphones will be able to access Gemini Advanced, which costs $19.99 per month in the United States. However, these services are free for six months.

In addition to six months of Gemini Advanced for free, all Galaxy S25 devices will come with 2TB of cloud storage at no extra cost. Gemini Advanced comes with priority access to the company’s most capable AI models and the latest features like James, custom AI experts for any topic, and Deep Research, who acts as your personal AI research assistant.

The Galaxy S25 series features an optimized “Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy” chipset that delivers better camera range and control, along with more on-device processing power thanks to Galaxy AI1 and Galaxy’s next-gen ProVisual Engine.

The thing to note is that this offer will be applicable on the first Google account used on your phone. Plus, you’ll also be able to access Gemini Advanced for free on the web and iOS devices.

Central to Samsung’s vision for the Galaxy S25 series is Galaxy AI, and this includes not just Samsung’s own AI solutions, but the best from Google as well. For example, Gemini will replace Bixby as your default assistant, offer new Circle to Search functionality, and even provide free access to Gemini Advanced.
