Samsung recently launched the Galaxy S25 series which includes some new Galaxy AI features to make your life easier. At the Unpacked event, Samsung announced the expansion of Galaxy AI to include 7 new Indian languages ​​and dialects.

With the One UI 7 software, Galaxy AI brings a host of intelligent features to make your everyday tasks easier. Call Transcript, Chat Assist, Interpreter, Writing Assist, Drawing Assist, and Circle to Search are some of the amazing features that break the language barriers among Galaxy smartphone users.

Since the launch of Galaxy AI with the Galaxy S24 series early last year, the Korean tech giant has been developing it with regular updates. In October 2024, The company introduced the expansion of Galaxy AI to four more languages: Turkish, Dutch, Swedish, and Romanian.

Yesterday, at the Galaxy Unpacked event in India, Aditya Babbar, vice president of product marketing at Samsung’s MX division, announced that the Galaxy AI will soon support 7 more Indian languages:

  2. Gujarati
  3. Marathi
  4. Tamil
  5. Telugu
  6. Bengali
  7. Urdu.

Samsung’s Galaxy AI already supports 20 languages, with this announcement it has reached 27 languages. This announcement means that even more users will experience fewer linguistic and cultural barriers in their daily lives through the power of Galaxy AI.

With this announcement, Samsung is ensuring that the advancements in Galaxy AI will be accessible to everyone. With gradual updates and language expansion, the suite of AI and GenAI features is covering a wider audience for a better experience, especially Indian users.

According to the leaker, the Galaxy S26 Ultra will have a 24MP default and portrait mode. It may also feature Adaptive Pixel, which reduces noise by combining multiple low-resolution photos into one high-resolution image.
