Galaxy S25 Edge gets 3C certificate with 25W charging support
Galaxy S25 Edge is getting a 3C certificate which reveals a few key details of the upcoming flagship phone. Also, the certification implies the nearing launch of the first Ultra slim models. Consumers already saw the official look of the device at Galaxy Unpacked 2025.
According to 91Mobiles, the ultra-slim Galaxy S25 Edge has received the 3C certificate wiht model number SM-S9370. It has specified power format as 50V DC, 2.0A of 9OV DC, 1.67A or 9.0V DC, 2.77A. Similar to other Galaxy S25 series, the charger will sold separately.
As per the listing, this slim phone will come with 25W fast charging support, which is the same as the standard Galaxy S25 model.
Apart from this, the phone may have the same battery capacity as the S25. The Galaxy S25 phone packs a 4000mAh (Rated (minimum) capacity is 3,885mAh) battery. Also, you can charge up to 50% in about 30 minutes with a 25W adapter and 3A USB-C.
Recently, 9to5Google reports that the company might launch the Galaxy S25 Edge Slim in around April this year. Although an official confirmation still awaits on this matter.
As per the tease, the Galaxy S25 Edge also follows the same design language as Galaxy S25 series devices. Plus, It appears to have only dual cameras on the rear that includes a 200-megapixel primary camera and a 50-megapixel telephoto camera with 3.5x optical zoom.
Moreover, The Galaxy S25 Edge (Slim) is expected to feature a 6.7-inch screen, Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, 12GB RAM, 256GB storage, 3,900mAh battery, and a dual camera setup and One UI 7.0 (Android 15).
Samsung has officially released the One UI 8 update for the Galaxy Tab S10 Lite, Galaxy A06 5G, and Galaxy F17 5G smartphones.
