Galaxy A16, A15, A14 are the latest to get January 2025 security update in the US
Samsung has started the January 2025 security update rollout for the entry-level Galaxy A16, Galaxy A15, and Galaxy A14 5G models. The firmware is being released in batches and will be available to device owners soon, providing a stable and bug-free experience.
The January 2025 update is already out for Galaxy A54 users. Now the company is bringing this software treatment to more Galaxy devices.
The latest January 2025 update is rolling out for Galaxy A16, Galaxy A15, and Galaxy A14 5G tagged with the One UI A166USQS1AYA2, A156USQS5BYA3, and A146USQSADXL1 version and a software package of around 400MB. Although the size may vary depending on the device and region.
This update is currently available on Verizon network carrier in the US. The company will make this update available in other countries in the coming days or weeks.

The Galaxy M53 is getting the January 2026 security update in Korea with the firmware version M536SKSSCGYL1. The Galaxy A06 4G is receiving it in Thailand, Malaysia, and Vietnam with version A065FXXS9CZA1.
