Galaxy S25 Ultra screen glitches

Despite being a significant upgrade over the Galaxy S24, the Galaxy S25 Ultra is one of the best Android phones to launch this year. However, this flagship phone isn’t perfect. Many early owners of the Galaxy S25 Ultra have complained of mysterious screen glitches and merciless return policies.

After using the device for less than a week, some users reported a screen glitch that couldn’t be removed. This is certainly a concern for those affected, so we wanted to find out if this is a widespread problem or just a few isolated cases.

Galaxy S25 Ultra users have started complaining about this issue on social media websites like Reddit and X. However, there is no complete information about this issue, whether this issue is also affecting Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25 +.

Some Galaxy S25 Ultra users have noticed vertical lines on the screen and other glitches on their smartphones when using the camera app (see the video here). Another user reported that Samsung sent in a faulty Galaxy S25 Ultra that had a glitch in its screen. You can check out the video here, with narrow horizontal lines developing on the screen, especially when the phone is turned on the screen before unlocking it.

Users reported that they contacted customer service twice. First, they told him to do the safe mode test and the problem was still happening; and then said to do a full factory reset also didn’t work, confirming that it was a hardware defect.

Following these issues, we believe Samsung should introduce a consumer-friendly return policy on Galaxy S25 series phones with hardware defects.

However, many users are enjoying the Galaxy S25 series smartphones without any issues. On the other hand, the company recently released its first massive 24GB One UI 7 update for the Galaxy S25 series with December 2024 security patch.
