Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge smartphone is coming and ahead of its official release, the device showed up in a hands-on video leak. The video clip reveals some exclusive details of the new device such as display parameters, battery capacity, as well as chip info.

Recently, YouTuber Alexis Garza obtained a device that appears to be a fully functional Galaxy S25 Edge and shared a short demo of the device (now removed). Although the clip is in Spanish, it gives some important details about this device being made by Samsung.
The video compares the Galaxy S25 Edge to the unfolded Galaxy Z Fold 6, which is 5.6mm thick when unfolded. The S25 Edge also appears slightly thicker in the video, which means it could be less than 6mm thick, which could be 5.84mm according to some reports.
Apart from its slim profile, the video also gives us some hardware details of the phone thanks to the AIDA64 app running on the device. According to it, the Galaxy S25 Edge is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, paired with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Other confirmed details include Bluetooth 5.4 support a 4,000mAh battery, and more.
Furthermore, the app also reveals that the phone has three 12MP cameras, but the phone only has two rear lenses, suggesting that the third sensor is the selfie camera. Don’t worry: the app displays the resolution at which images are saved rather than the sensor’s full megapixel count, so the rumored 200MP main shooter isn’t out of the question.

Leaker “IceUniverse” has shared new information about four design changes for the Galaxy S26 Ultra. According to the leak, the Galaxy S26 Ultra will have slightly more rounded corners, giving it a softer overall look.
Regarding the second change, the Galaxy S26 Ultra has a slightly larger front camera cutout. This is due to the front camera’s wider field of view, which should allow more people to fit into group selfies.
Furthermore, there is no difference in the bezel width between the Galaxy S26 Ultra and the Galaxy S25 Ultra. Fourth, and most importantly, the Galaxy S26 Ultra has a slightly larger display. It measures 6.89 inches, compared to the 6.86-inch display of the Galaxy S25 Ultra.
Recently, disappointing news for fans has emerged from an online listing. It appears that Samsung has not included Qi2 magnets in the device. Users will need to purchase compatible accessories to utilize Qi2 charging.

Samsung also added 30 additional security fixes specifically for Galaxy phones. These fixes address both critical and medium-level risks.
