Samsung has rolled out the One UI 7 beta 2 update for the Galaxy S24 series with a small yet effective changelog. The firmware carries some new features as well as bug fixes. The beta developers may get a more efficient and improved experience over the previous build.

Talking about the current scenario, Galaxy S24 series beta users have started collecting the One UI 7 beta 2 updates in Korea, Germany, the US, and the UK with the ZXL5 build. Unlike the previous beta package, this beta has a little less, but some favorable tugs for the respective device.

In Germany, the One UI 7 Beta 2 update for the Galaxy S24 series arrives with the One UI version S92xBXXU4ZXL5. Users will have to download a 1067.43 MB software package to install the update. This update is now available for the Galaxy S24 series in Korea and Germany and the company will soon expand it to more countries.

What’s new in One UI 7 Beta 2

According to the changelog, the new beta update fixes several issues that the display and malfunction after closing the Now bar app. Plus, it fixes some issues including displaying text in the App drawer, Dex wireless connectivity with TV, widget transparency, quick panel operation error, call recording, Wi-Fi/NCF connection, and many more.

In terms of improvements, this update improves the Egde panel Smaeryt Select entry speed. It also enhances slow switching between recent screen apps and improves intermittent reset issues when using power-saving mode.

Moreover, the One UI 7 Beta 2 introduced the Screen Refresh Rate settings in the Game Booster, which deliver a next-level gaming experience.

The fresh beta software installs the December 2024 security patch to improve system security and stability for an error-free experience.

The update is available for beta testers who have enrolled in the One UI 7 Beta Program through the Samsung Members app. You can install the latest beta update through Settings > Software Update > Download and install.

This update is much needed for this mega flagship and it will improve the security aspect of the phone.

A reliable tipster has claimed that Samsung has started working on One UI 8.5 for next year’s Galaxy S series phones. This means the upcoming Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26 Plus, and Galaxy S26 Ultra could launch with One UI 8.5 software.
