The changelog only shows the presence of the most up-to-date Android security patch on your device. But it is an important add-on as it protects your device from around 29 CVEs and 20 SVEs library issues. It also protects your Galaxy device from sudden crashes and data loss. This additional feature aims to remove any hidden issues in the device’s system and make it more reliable.
The January 2025 update is arriving in batches and may take some days to reach every eligible unit. Till then, you can sneak into Settings > Software Updates to download the latest version manually.
Talking about the update, the Galaxy A16, Galaxy A15, and Galaxy A14 5G phones are eligible for Android 15-based One UI 7.0, which brings several new features that you can check out in the article below.
On the other hand, Boost Mobile, the fourth-largest network carrier in the US, announced last week that it is adding two new Galaxy phones to its portfolio, the Galaxy A15 5G and the Galaxy A16 5G.
