Samsung is almost ready to announce its next mid-range phones: the Galaxy A56 and Galaxy A36 5G. A few days ago, the Galaxy A56 passed some mandatory certification processes, and now, the upcoming phone has passed the FCC certification process, around two months ahead of the launch.
The Galaxy A56 5G, with model number SM-A566E/DS, has passed through the FCC certification process (via MySmartPrice), ahead of March launch. It will be the highest-end device in Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy A lineup. The certification document reveals that the device has GSM, WCDMA, LTE FDD, and 5G mobile connectivity in addition to Bluetooth, GNSS, NFC, and Wi-Fi (802.11.b/g/n/a/ac/ax) support.
The certification also reveals that the upcoming Samsung smartphone is being tested with the EP-TA800 adapter that supports slow 25W charging. However, the label revealed through the FCC database confirms that it will support charging at (45W wired fast charging tech)10V 4.5A. This is in line with previous reporting, which suggested will support 45W wired fast charging tech.
Earlier, the Galaxy A56 5G was spotted on a Bluetooth SIG listing with the SM-A566B/DS model number. It also emerged on the Geekbench database with the in-house Exynos 1580 SoC and 8GB of RAM.
Apart from this, the phone has also passed MIIT certification, which reveals that it will have a 4,905mAh battery. Design renders shown through TENAA certification have confirmed the presence of a camera module with a Galaxy Note-inspired design. The phone is expected to have a dynamic AMOLED display, triple cameras, and more.
Recently, X (formerly Twitter) @yabhishekhd said that Samsung could launch the Galaxy A56 and Galaxy A36 in India and globally in March this year. This is in line with Samsung’s traditional launch timeline, which usually sees the Galaxy A series launch in March every year.
