Galaxy F06 5G is the first budget Samsung phone that is eligible for updates for 4 years
The latest addition to the popular Galaxy F series, Galaxy F06 5G runs Android 15-based One UI 7. The company announced four major OS updates and four years of security patches. The F06 5G comes with Android 15 out of the box, so it’s guaranteed to make it to Android 19 or whatever version of Android is available in 2029. Interestingly, it has some notable upgrades over its predecessors.
Design
Designed to mesmerize, the Galaxy F06 features a stylish pattern design that exudes premium aesthetics. The rear side attaches a pill-shaped frame housing dual lenses and an LED Flash. The field of view is limited on the front due to the rounded corners and camera cutout.
In terms of color schemes, the newly launched smartphone is available in two iconic shades: Bahama Blue and Lit Violet.
Display
Galaxy F06 5G smartphone features a bright 6.7-inch HD+ display with 60Hz refresh rate immersive viewing experience.

Processor:
Samsung has launched the Galaxy F06 5G model in the Indian market with the useful MediaTek Dimensity 6300 Processor.
The processor is given a total AnTuTu score of 416552 and is paired with an up to 6GB + 128GB variant. For the software system, the device pre-installs the Android 15-based One UI 7 with a variety of new features and useful improvements over the previous version.
Camera:
Samsung has imposed a dual-lens setup on the F06 phones consisting of a 50MP main shooter, and a 2MP depth sensor. Ahead, the front lens is 8 MP with support for multiple capturing modes.

Battery and Charging
Accordingly, the Galaxy F06 handset packs a 5000mAh battery with 25W charging support. The battery enables long sessions of browsing, gaming, and binge-watching throughout the day. For seamless unlocking and privacy, it also supports Face Unlock and Side-Mounted Fingerprint Sensor.

Galaxy F06 will be available in a 4GB+128GB and 6GB+128GB storage variant, expandable up to 1TB storage. The F05 will go on sale on February 20 with exciting launch offers. Galaxy F05 will be available on Flipkart, Samsung.com, and at select retail stores.

One UI 8 Beta adds a Birthday Cards Creator feature for the Now Brief

Samsung recently released the One UI 8 beta 3 update for the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25 Plus, and Galaxy S25 Ultra smartphones. The One UI 8 beta update introduced the Birthday Cards Creator feature in the Now Brief tool, along with some improvements and fixes.
The latest One UI 8 beta allows Galaxy S25 series users to create AI-generated birthday cards. Now Brief will notify you when one of your contacts has a birthday coming up, and you can tap on the alert and quickly create a personalized birthday card using Galaxy AI.
The One UI 8 birthday card creator feature is easy to use. All you have to do is go to the drawing assist feature. All you have to do is write a message or thought, choose an art style, and the card will be created for you. You can send the card directly to your contact in just a few taps, no need to open other apps or search for e-cards online.
On June 30, 2025, Samsung released One UI 8 beta 3 for the Galaxy S25 lineup. Moreover, the beta is currently available in select markets including the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, South Korea, India, and Poland.
According to the information, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7 will be launched with stable One UI 8 pre-installed, which will put pressure on Samsung’s development team to finalize the software experience. Also, the Galaxy Unpacked event is scheduled for July 9, 2025, extending to Galaxy S25 series users by late July 2025.

One UI 8 beta 3 brings back “Back Swipe Preview”

Samsung recently released the One UI 8 Beta 3 update for the Galaxy S25 series. Interesting, a useful feature, “Back Swipe Preview”, has reportedly been brought back with the One UI 8 Beta 3.
However, the “Back Swipe Preview” gesture was temporarily removed in One UI 8 Beta 2; however, it has been brought back with necessary improvements in the Beta 3 update released today.
Samsung’s new Back Swipe Preview allows you to swipe from the edge of the screen, with the One UI version showing you a preview of the previous screen before you complete the gesture.
Furthermore, you swipe from the left or right edge, and the current window shifts to reveal the previous screen in the background. This makes navigation seamless, especially for multitasking.
Currently, Galaxy S25 users running One UI 8 beta 3 can use this Back swipe preview gesture. To enable it, go to Settings > Advanced Features > Labs and turn it on.
Samsung has started rolling out One UI 8 Beta 3 for the Galaxy S25 series starting today. This latest release brings some improvements to the Now Brief, most notably some AI tricks.

One UI 8 Beta 3 update rolling out to Samsung Galaxy S25 series

Samsung has finally begun releasing an Android 16-based One UI 8 Beta 3 update for Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25 Plus, and Galaxy S25 Ultra users. This update is currently live for users in Germany, India (as Beta 2), South Korea, the UK, and the company will expand it to more eligible countries soon.
Samsung Galaxy S25 series users can verify the One UI 8 Beta 3 update via the One UI Build version ending in ZYFA, and the update is a package weighing over 1GB.
This new beta update brings several bug fixes and improvements to provide a better Galaxy experience. Apart from this, this update also installs the latest security patch released in June 2025 to improve system security and stability.
The One UI 8 beta 3 update addresses the overlap issue between the recent apps status bar and the running apps menu in a specific situation of Navistar. It also fixes the issue in which keyboard input only occurs on reboot at the Security Folder PIN input screen.
In the S Pen, the updated fixed text input (S Pen to text) error. Additionally, it has fixed the issue that caused the loading time to increase intermittently when entering the Mode / Routine menu
