Galaxy S25 appears on Geekbench with Android 16 One UI 8
Galaxy S25 benchmarks with the phone running Android 16 have been discovered on the Geekbench website. Meanwhile, old devices are still waiting for the One UI 7 version, which will roll out on April 7, starting with the Galaxy S24 series.
The Galaxy S25 Ultra with Android 16-based One UI 8 firmware was spotted on Samsung’s servers three weeks ago. In this development, the S25 model now appears on Geekbench with the new Android 16 software update. Notably, Samsung started the development of One UI 8 (Android 16) two months earlier than usual.
According to the listing details spotted by @tarunvats33, the Samsung Galaxy S25 was spotted running Android 16 with One UI 8 on GeekBench. Moreover, it achieved 3135 points in the single-core test and 9938 points in the multi-core test.
Samsung introduced the Galaxy S25 series in January 2025 with Android 15-based One UI 7.0 preinstalled. Also, One UI 8, along with Android 16, will be the first major upgrade for the new device out of seven Android OS updates.
Moreover, there were also rumors that the One UI 8 would not be delayed like the One UI 7. On the other hand, the company has yet to start the stable One UI 7 rollout, and the company has only confirmed that the distribution is set to begin on April 07, 2025.
