Google introduced A/B seamless updates back in 2016 with Android 7.1, but Samsung brought the seamless update only this year with a Galaxy A55 update, and the feature was expected to reach other devices. Now, the company planning to bring this update process to the upcoming Galaxy S25 series next year.
We heard a rumor a few weeks back, that (via chunvn8888) had claimed that the Galaxy S25 series would support seamless A/B updates. Now, a journal claims to have access to some leaked files of the Galaxy S25 Ultra that confirm support for this update process.
A/B seamless updates
Legacy Seamless updates, also known as A/B system updates, sport two sets of partitions: slot A Downloading and Installing and slot B Verification. It is worth noting that this update is based on Android 15 and One UI 7. Users of these devices will get the One UI 8 update in the coming months. Samsung has not confirmed these smartphones for beta, so it is possible that users may get the stable update directly.

Furthermore, in Europe, the 256GB Galaxy Z Flip 7 will be €100 cheaper than its predecessor and will be available for €1,099 instead of €1,199. The 512GB Galaxy Z Flip 7 variant should cost €1,219 instead of €1,319.
In short, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 will likely retain its price in Europe compared to the 2024 model, while the Galaxy Z Flip 7 should be cheaper than the Flip 6 at launch.
