Galaxy S25 Ultra might not support Find My Device while powered down, as the Pixel 9 can do

Amid rumors of One UI 7 beta 3, the Galaxy S25 series phones regularly appear in the leak section. A recent input suggests that Samsung is preparing the Galaxy S25 Ultra smartphone with an expected brighter screen, UFS 4.0 storage, A/B Seamless Updates, and a big battery. Meanwhile, the leak may also disappoint some users as the Galaxy S25 Ultra may not support Find My Device while powered down, as the Pixel 9 can do.
Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra to feature brighter screen, UFS 4.0 storage, A/B Seamless Updates
Hardware details of Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra have been revealed (via AssembleDebug) through files of a handset under test. After digging through some leaked files, Android Authority has found that the Galaxy S25 Ultra will have a maximum brightness of up to 3,000 nits, have an A/B Seamless Updates system, pack a 5,000mAh battery, and use UFS 4.0 storage.
In addition to these features, the source also crawls another hardware file, ro.bluetooth.finder.supported=false, which would mean that the flagship phone doesn’t support Find My Device when turned off, as the Pixel 9 can.
Thanks to the A/B Seamless Updates system, the Galaxy S25 Ultra users can continue to use their devices during an OTA. The Samsung Galaxy A55 5G is the first Samsung phone to feature A/B seamless update functionality. However, it hasn’t arrived on any flagship Galaxy device yet.
The report also claims that the Galaxy S25 Ultra will feature a 3120×1440 resolution, just like the S24 Ultra. However, there is likely to be a slight increase in maximum brightness, which could go up to 3,000 nits of peak brightness.
The source also sees evidence for the Galaxy S25 Ultra arriving with a 5,000mAh battery and high-speed UFS 4.0 storage. The Ultra edition in the S25 lineup will use the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip as its other siblings. Meanwhile, the company could have huge plans for the next-gen Galaxy S series smartphone.
Samsung has not yet confirmed any of these details nor has it announced the Galaxy S25 series handsets. It will be interesting to see if the devices will have the high-end specifications that consumers expect. Let’s wait for official input on this matter.
