Galaxy S25 Slim to beat iPhone 17 Air with its stronger camera: Tipster
On X/Twitter, @Universelce says that the Galaxy S25 Slim will sport a superior camera than the iPhone 17 Air as well as the Galaxy S25. Plus, he also claims that Samsung’s slim phone could be more similar to the idea of the Vivo X200 Pro Mini.
As per the report, the iPhone 17 Air would pack a single camera on the rear same tire as the iPhone SE for photography. Moreover, The Galaxy S25 Slim is said to come with three powerful cameras including a 200MP ISOCELL HP5 sensors main camera and two 50MP ISOCELL JN5 sensors as an ultrawide camera and a Telephoto lens with 3.5x optical zoom.
On the other hand, the Galaxy S25 could feature the same camera specification as the Galaxy S24. For Galaxy S25, Samsung must make significant innovations in the camera department to maintain an edge over its rivals.
Vivo X200 Pro Mini recently launched in China with pro-grade cameras. The smartphone houses a 50MP Sony LYT818 primary camera, a 50MO ultrawide sensor, and a 50MP periscope sensor for up to 100x digital zoom. The device further a 32MP selfie lens for clean and clear facial shots.
Samsung is expected to launch the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and Galaxy S25 Ultra early next year, if the testing is completed successfully, we might also see the S25 Slim along with the Galaxy S25 lineup.

On online forums, some rumors claim that Samsung is set to launch Android 7-based One UI 7 along with the next-generation foldable phones, Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 16, in July. The Korean tech giant is expected to release the One UI 7 beta program for the Galaxy S25 series and some more eligible flagships soon. Also, the Recent Calls widget default layout includes two options within the widgets section, including 2×2 and 4×2. As per the report, you can stack the widgets, but there is no customisation section right now.

In Korea, Samsung has kicked off the Android 15-based One UI 7 update for the Galaxy S23 series, Galaxy S24 FE, Tab S10, Galaxy Tab S9, Galaxy Z Fold5, and Galaxy Z Flip5. The update follows the One UI 7 deployment for Galaxy S24 series and Galaxy Z Fold5, as well as Galaxy Z Flip5 users in the same region, which began earlier.
These users are among the first to experience this update, which promises a smoother, more intuitive experience with a refined user interface, improved performance, enhanced privacy controls, and new customization options that align with Samsung’s vision for a seamless and intuitive user experience.
