Galaxy S22 March 2025 update

The One UI March 2025 security update is now making its way to Samsung Galaxy S22 smartphone users. The company has kicked off the latest firmware in South Korea. But it won’t take much time to expand the most recent improvements to more regions.

The Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22 Plus, and Galaxy S22 Ultra smartphones are currently running on the Android 14-based One UI 6.1 operating system. However, the tech giant will soon offer the One UI 7 upgrade to the respective device owners, including several impressive features and benefits.

The Samsung Galaxy S22 series is getting the new March 2025 update with One UI version S90xNKSS7EYB3. Users need to download a software package of around 500 Megabytes to install the latest safety fixes and security refinements to their Galaxy S22 smartphone.

This update only brings the March 2025 security patch. Yet the new addition ensures an extra layer of security for your important data and other essentials. It further enhances the device’s power to fight malicious attacks.

The March 2025 update also fixes about 58 vulnerabilities hidden in your device. It also eliminates 3 privacy vulnerabilities that appeared in the previous software version and makes your smartphone more reliable and productive to use.

One UI 7 for Samsung Galaxy S22?

The company has currently enrolled 11 devices for the One UI 7 beta update, including the Galaxy S24, S23 series, Galaxy Z Fold 6, Flip 6, Galaxy Tab S10 Plus, Tab S10 Ultra, and Galaxy A55 5G. At the moment, there is no slot for the Galaxy S22 series handsets in this software wagon. However, Samsung is likely to add more devices to this program, and we can expect the same for the respective phones.
