More Galaxy A55 users getting March 2025 security update

Samsung is rolling out the One UI 6.1-based March 2025 security update for the Galaxy A55 in some Asian countries. The update is already live for the phone in Europe, and the company will soon make it available for all models.
March 2025 security update for Samsung Galaxy A55 arrives with One UI build version A556EXXS6AYC2 and an installation package size of around 271 MB. This update is currently available for users in the Philippines, and the company will soon roll it out to all models.
Earlier this month, the Korean tech giant announced the rollout of the One UI 7 beta program for the Galaxy A55. Users of the phone were waiting for the beta update, but they received the new patch before that. Now, we expected that the next update for Galaxy A55 would be the One UI 7 beta.
According to SMR, the March 2025 security patch fixes more than 58 vulnerabilities in its software. Of these, Google addresses 11 critical and 40 high-level security issues, one of which has already been covered in a previous update.
In addition, the Korean tech giant fixed 7 security issues in the patch, focusing on Auracast, communication settings, Galaxy Watch Gallery, and Wi-Fi services.
Samsung has confirmed that the Galaxy A55 as well as some other Galaxy devices will receive the One UI 7 beta in March 2025. This new update prepares your Galaxy A55 for the One UI 7 beta update.
If you have received an update notification, install it now to enhance security. You can also check the firmware by going to the Settings app on your smartphone and opening the Software Update section.
Now, click on the Download and Install option. If an update is available, you can follow the on-screen instructions to download the update on your Galaxy smartphone.

Samsung improves Galaxy S24 security with July 2025 update
