New update to Samsung Home Up fixes DIY home screen issues for Galaxy devices running One UI 7
Samsung’s experimental Home Up feature has received several improvements, expanding One UI home screen customization options. Samsung has released a new update to Home Up, version 16.0.00.58, for devices running One UI 7, which fixes DIY home screen issues.
This new Home Up update for Galaxy S25 and S24 running One UI 7 addresses the ‘One UI Home’ force closing issue caused by a conflict with specific resources when entering the home screen editing screen when using DIY home screen.
In addition, it also fixes bugs where widgets remain transparent when deleting widgets using the toolbar in DIY home screen editing mode. Full official changelog below:

This latest update fixes various errors that users might encounter while using the app. By addressing these issues, Samsung aims to provide users with a more stable and reliable platform to interact.
With an installation package size of 51.09 MB, Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S24 beta users can check for the Samsung Home Up v16.0.00.58 update by opening the Galaxy Store app, tapping on the menu icon, and selecting Updates. Alternatively, they can also download the fresh update from the Good Lock app.
Good Lock is still limited to a few countries. However, Samsung is slowly adding more markets to the Good Lock list with the stable One UI 7 update.

18 Samsung phones getting November 2025 security update
Samsung has pushed the November 2025 security update for 18 Galaxy phones in South Korea. These devices are Galaxy S25, S25 Plus, S25 Ultra, S25 FE, Galaxy S24, S24 Plus, S24 Ultra, Galaxy S23, S23 Plus, S23 Ultra, Galaxy Z Fold 7, Galaxy Z Flip 7, Galaxy Z Flip 6, and Tab S11 series.
The Samsung November 2025 security update is now available, bringing important fixes from both Google and Samsung. It resolves 45 security issues in total, but 11 are Exynos-specific and don’t apply to these flagship phones.
Galaxy users are advised to install the update immediately to take advantage of the enhanced security measures. Those who haven’t received an update notification can check for and install the update manually.
To install the update, open your Galaxy smartphone’s Settings, choose ‘Software update’, and then select ‘Download and install’. Following these steps will ensure your smartphone is updated with the latest security measures.
Before downloading, make sure your device is connected to a Wi-Fi network or has a strong network connection. Also, make sure your battery is fully charged before starting the software update.

Galaxy S26 with Exynos 2600 could have vastly improved camera capabilities
