X tipster @PandaFlashPro says that the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7 will bring extraordinary hardware upgrades. This time it could pack “unexpected” hardware components to deliver the best foldable smartphone experience from every angle.
Further inputs reveal that the company could introduce new improved technologies with the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7 this time. These techs could be related to the display solution, camera, chipset, battery, or durability.
According to rumors, Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold 7 may feature only minor design changes, possibly including a flat frame and camera ring similar to its predecessor. Meanwhile, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 is rumored to pack in a similar size as the Fold 6 SE. Furthermore, the cover display also supports 2600nits brightness, adaptive refresh rate, and Pro Scaler display technology.
In internal testing, the battery life of the Galaxy Z Fold 7 running on Snapdragon 8 Elite has increased to about 55 minutes. The current prototype device also has a 200MP camera sensor, however, the tipster has not confirmed whether it will be launched commercially or not.
Previous reports suggest that the upcoming foldable phone may launch with One UI 7.0.1 instead of One UI 7.1.1. As per the initial revelations, the device may launch in July 2025. However, an official confirmation on the matter is awaited.

Game Booster+ is the tool that improves gaming performance and controls on Galaxy phones. According to information via Samsung Community, the One UI 8.5 update with Game Booster+ will bring many new features, including Gamepad Touch Mapping, CPU and GPU Settings, Fast-forward Game Intros, and more.
