One UI 7 support brings revamped app icon to Samsung Kids

Now, the Samsung Kids app is receiving a new update, bringing One UI 7 support alongside the new baby face icon.
Before the official unveiling of the One UI 7 beta, we now have a new icon for the Samsung Kids app. The latest icon appears with the latest version (12.6.01.8) of the Samsung Kids app, which was recently introduced on the APKMirror. Alongside new and improved features, the new update brings a new app icon for Samsung Kids shows a new logo with a younger-looking baby character compared to the existing app icon. The revamped app icon has a modern color gradient of Blue and Purple, which makes the app look more fun and appealing.

The company is releasing a new update for Samsung Kids with 12.6.01.8. In addition to the new app icon, this update makes the app more secure and safe for the children to easily learn and play.

One UI 7 beta status
At this point, the exact release information for the public beta of the One UI 7 hasn’t been detailed, it was stated that the stable version of One UI 7 will launch with the Galaxy S25 lineup in early 2025.
A recent report suggests that the One UI 7 beta update program might launch next couple of weeks. The Galaxy S24 lineup smartphone will be the first device to get the One UI 7 beta and then the Galaxy S23 lineup.

Breaking: Samsung resumes Galaxy S24 and S23 Android 16 One UI 8 update rollout!
Samsung has resumed the One UI 8 rollout for Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S23 users in Korea. After a brief pause to fix initial bugs, the tech giant has started rolling out the much-awaited update, bringing a new user experience to its flagship lineup.
The One UI 8 update weighs over 298.31 MB, with versions ending with CYJ3 for Galaxy S24, and Galaxy S23 is getting the EYJ7 version, as well as the October 2025 security patch
The Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S23 devices are receiving the update notification. Galaxy users can check for the update via Settings > Software Update. Samsung advises ensuring a stable Wi-Fi connection and a sufficient battery before installing.
