Galaxy Tab S6 Lite 2020 and 2022 models are the latest smartphones to receive the November 2024 security update. It is the first update since the One UI 6.1 firmware for the 2022 model, while the 2020 model gets this update based on the One UI 5.1.1 update.
Galaxy Tab S6 Lite gets November 2024 security update
The November 2024 Android security update is now available for Galaxy Tab 6 Lite with the following One UI version number.
- Galaxy Tab S6 Lite 2022 WiFi (SM-P613): P613XXS7CXJ1
- Galaxy Tab S6 Lite 2020 Wi-Fi (SM-P610): P610XXS6FXJ1
- Galaxy Tab S6 Lite 2020 LTE (SM-P615): P615XXS9FXJ1
Galaxy Tab S6 Lite 2020 LTE November 2024 update is currently rolling out in India and Europe (Hungary) and Wi-Fi models get it in Korea but could expand to other countries in the next few weeks.
Moreover, the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite 2022 WiFi model gets this update in Taiwan and Europe (Germany).
What’s new
The new software update installs the latest November 2024 Android security patch, addressing over 50 issues to make the device more secure, reliable, and stable. It includes 38 High-level fixes from Google for vulnerabilities in Android to enhance security for devices against potential threats.
Moreover, Samsung has also resolved 13 vulnerabilities, improving Multiple users, Dex mode, Galaxy Watch, and System Settings. Plus, this update improves the old tablet’s performance by addressing security issues and enhancing system stability.
How to update
It is an initial release so it may take some days to reach all Galaxy Tab S6 Lite models. You can check and install the security patch to enjoy enhanced function on your tab.
If you have obtained the notification of the update then install it now to get a bug-free experience. To do that, open Settings and tap on the Software update option. Inside the submenu, you need to tap on the Download and Install button if your Galaxy device fetches a new OTA.

Samsung improves Galaxy S24 security with July 2025 update
