Samsung Galaxy S23 gets One UI 8 Beta 2 with critical fixes
Samsung has released One UI 8 beta 2 for the Galaxy S23 series. The company recently released the new One UI 8 beta 3 software for the Galaxy S24. It has several bug fixes and as well as major changes and improvements.
The company is rolling out the ZYI5 build for the S23, S23+, and S23 Ultra in South Korea, and other markets will join it soon.
The One UI 8 beta 2 is a result of valuable feedback provided by beta testers. The company has taken into account various reports and suggestions to craft this firmware. It will resolve several issues that are not even covered in the update changelog.
Major changes/improvements
- Fixed an issue where the phone would reset while in use.
- Fixed an issue where Dex settings were not maintained when updating from a previous OS to One UI 8
- Fixed an issue where the Galaxy Watch7 watch weather app was not updating in real time.
There is no separate process required to update your phone’s beta software. Open your phone’s system settings and navigate to the Software Update page. Press the Download and Install button, and the system will begin receiving a new OTA update.
If a new software update is available, the download will start automatically. Beta participants who upgraded to Beta 1 will get Beta 2, while new participants will get the second build immediately.

Samsung Galaxy S21 FE is calling One UI 8
Samsung is expanding, rolling out the Android 16-based One UI 8 update for the Galaxy S21 FE smartphone. The update is currently live for users in Europe and India and will soon expand to more countries.
The new major software update brings many exciting features and improvements to make your phone better and easier to use. It also includes the September 2025 security patch to improve system security and stability.
