Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+, and Galaxy S23 Ultra are receiving the new December 2024 security patch with firmware numbers S911BXXS7CXK6, S916BXXS7CXK6, and S918BXXS7CXK6, respectively. This patch doesn’t accompany any major changes to the device, however, the phone users will observe performance optimizations.

Users will have to download around a 400MB package to install the firmware. The Korean tech giant will soon make this update available for all models. Installing this update on your Galaxy S23 series phone will offer a seamless functioning of the device. Holders may also get rid of anonymous bugs hidden in the core system.

Notable, this update only holds a new security patch released in December 2024. Although this addition contains has its own benefits. It aims to fix hidden privacy exploits and eliminate other vulnerabilities in the phone.

Verizon recently rolled out the One UI 7 update for the Galaxy S24 series, Z Flip 6, and Z Fold 6. Now, Samsung is rolling out the One UI 7 update for the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5 smartphones in the US. The update is available for locked models of these 5th-generation foldables on the Verizon network.

One UI 7 update arrives on Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Galaxy Z Fold 5 smartphones in the US through One UI build versions F731USQU6EYD9 and F946USQU6EYD9 respectively. The company will soon expand this update to all network carriers in the US.

Based on Android 15, the One UI 7 update brings several new features and enhancements to deliver a next-level experience. Samsung’s One UI 7 update introduces a separate Quick Settings and Notification Panel with the new layout. Also, it adds new features, including Now Bar and Live Notifications, which significantly improve the overall experience.
