Galaxy S25+ live images show a new button, which might be mmWave antenna
An X tipster @Jukanlosreve has dropped the first alleged live images of the upcoming Galaxy S25+. These suspicious live pictures of the Galaxy S25 Plus show a flat frame similar to the Galaxy S24+. Plus, the display and back panels are also flat, and the rear cameras are laid out vertically, as a signature design.
Coming to the button placements, the power button and the volume rockers are present on the right side. In addition, the right bezel also reveals a new button at first glance, which is rumored to be a dedicated mmWave antenna button.
As per the report, this antenna could enhance 5G mmWave connectivity for the Galaxy S25 series on mobile networks in the US. With the new technology, the Galaxy S25 series will offer very fast data speeds.
Moreover, this leak suggests that Samsung could be taking Apple’s lead and removing the physical SIM slot in a similar direction for the Galaxy flagship in the US.
On the other hand, the third button also indicates that it might be the Camera Control button, as was the case with Apple’s iPhone 16 introduced last year. This button allows users to quickly open their camera and access common camera settings.
The Galaxy S25 series is expected to debut on January 22, 2025, at the Galaxy Unpacked event. The device will bring some amazing specifications and capabilities over the previous-gen models. To know the exact details, we have to wait till the official launch.
