Samsung Galaxy S25 enters Geekbench, solves the chipset mystery

Samsung Galaxy S25 Vanilla model has now appeared on Geekbench, which also solves the chipset mystery that has been in rumors for a long time. The listing shows that the company is conducting pre-launch tests and preparations for its new device.
Several rumors have claimed that Samsung will power the entire Galaxy S25 lineup worldwide with the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, now the listing has confirmed those rumors.
Samsung Galaxy S25 wiht Snapdragon 8 Elite enters Geekbench, solves the chipset mystery
According to the Geekbench 6 listing (via), the Galaxy S25 runs on an octa-core chipset with a 6+2 CPU architecture. Judging from the structure, the upcoming flagship would equip the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. It uses 12GB RAM and is further coupled with Android 15 operating system.
Inputs reveal that the chipset is clocked at 3.53 GHz base frequency. It contains six 3.53GHz small cores and two 4.47GHz large cores.
Plus, the Galaxy S25 with model number SM-S931B achieved 2986 points on single-core and 9355 points on multi-core tests. Being a flagship handset, these points seem good enough. Yet the true performance will be known after the device officially enters the consumer market.

A few weeks back, a listing suggested that the vanilla model of the Galaxy S25 series will adopt the Exynos 2500 chipset. But it seems Samsung will power the device with a slightly inferior yet efficient processor. Things will bring more clear after the official release of the smartphone.
The listing does not reveal any other information about the device apart from the chip details and model number. Samsung is expected to reveal the exact parameters of the Galaxy S25 series on January 22. Till then you can stay connected with us for more information.

Breaking: Samsung closed new One UI 8 Beta enrollment in the US

Days after kicking off the One UI 8 Beta, Samsung closed new enrollment in the US. The Beta Program devices are the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and Galaxy S25 Ultra. The Program is available in Germany, Korea, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
Two days ago, Samsung confirmed that both the Galaxy Z Flip7 and Galaxy Z Fold7 will come with stable One UI 8. This means that users of these Galaxy foldable devices will enjoy all the new features right out of the box. After that, Samsung will gradually release the update for more Galaxy phones and end the beta program.
Samsung One UI 8 Beta closed
AdamJMatlock on X noticed that the new One UI 8 beta enrollment for the Galaxy S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra has closed in the US. This means that the Samsung Members app is no longer accepting new registrations and is informing users that the beta program has reached its capacity. Now, you have to wait for the program to reopen to register.

In addition, Samsung Members is the key to unlock the One UI 8 beta program. The beta program banner is shown on the home page of the app. Clicking on the beta banner takes you to a short process to finish the registration.
Just like One UI 7 beta registrations, One UI 8 beta registrations crossed the line within a few days of the program’s official launch. This is not surprising news, as Galaxy fans have been eagerly waiting for the Android 16 beta software ever since the stable version rollout for Pixel devices.
Until then, you have no official opportunity to get the latest update on your Galaxy S25 series. Manually flashing the OTA is a solution to get it right away. However, we don’t suggest doing this on your primary Galaxy device as it may cause data loss.
