Samsung Galaxy S25 Slim enters Geekbench with Snapdragon 8 Elite
A couple of days ago, Samsung published a teaser image for the Galaxy Unpacked 2025 event that will take place in San Jose, California, USA. This image shows the corners of four phones, which in question should be the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, Galaxy S25 Ultra and a brand new Galaxy S25 Slim. Now, the Galaxy S25 Slim may arrive in Unpacked 2025 as it has also entered the Geekbench lane with a Snapdragon chip.
@Jukanlosreve noted that the Samsung Galaxy S25 Slim has appeared on the Geekbench platform. It has the model number SM-S937U and showed notable scores.
According to the listing, the Galaxy S25 Slim device has obtained 3005 points in the single-core test and 6945 points in the multi-core test. Being a flagship handset, these things sound quite good. Yet the actual performance will be known when the device officially hits consumer platforms.
Samsung has listed the 12GB RAM variant and runs on Android 15-based One UI 7 software on the performance platform. Judging from the chipset’s CPU architecture, it appears to be Snapdragon 8 Elite.
The listing does not reveal any other information about the device apart from the chip details and model number. Samsung will reveal the exact details of the Galaxy S25 Slim on January 22, whether through launch or tease. Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 started getting the Android 16-based One UI 8 update. Samsung has officially released the One UI 8 update for the Galaxy Tab S10 Lite, Galaxy A06 5G, and Galaxy F17 5G smartphones.
