Samsung has officially confirmed that the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and Galaxy S25 Ultra will launch at its first Unpacked 2025 event on January 22. The launch date was already rumoured and the company has now confirmed that this is indeed the date when the next flagship lineup will be revealed.

Two weeks from now, Samsung next flagships will be unveiled the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and Galaxy S25 Ultra at Unpacked 2025 event. In a teaser shared by the company’s website, it has been revealed that the Galaxy Unpacked 2025 event will be held in San Jose on January 22 at 10 a.m. PT, 1 p.m. EST, 6 p.m. GMT, and 7 p.m. CET. 

You’ll also be able to catch the new product announcement via live streams on platforms such as  Samsung.com, Samsung Newsroom, and Samsung’s YouTube channel.

Additionally, the Galaxy Unpacked 2025 event will focus on the next evolution of Galaxy AI alongside Samsung Galaxy S25 lineup. Hence, Galaxy AI is expected to get a lot of focus during the event. This is the suite of AI features that Samsung will introduce with the Galaxy S25 series. Artificial intelligence is a key area of ​​focus for the new flagship, with the flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset boasting significant AI capabilities.

Along with the confirmation of the Galaxy S25 series, Samsung also shared details of pre-order offers. Customers in the US can now claim “Reserve” offers for the upcoming Galaxy devices during the pre-order period. Orders on Samsung.com or the Shop Samsung app will receive a $50 Reserve credit when they purchase the device. This is a no-commitment offer: users only need to register their interest by sharing their name and email to be able to redeem the credit.

Plus, you can win a $5,000 Samsung gift card. Further, you also get an additional credit of up to $900 when you sell an eligible device. Moreover, you can also get an additional instant credit of up to $300 when you make reservations and pre-orders, taking the total savings to up to $1,250.

According to the leaker, the Galaxy S26 Ultra will have a 24MP default and portrait mode. It may also feature Adaptive Pixel, which reduces noise by combining multiple low-resolution photos into one high-resolution image.

Additionally, the Galaxy S26 Ultra Optical has a focus speed slider for portrait and video modes. Camera assistance mode – allows turning off HDR10+ and using regular HDR.
