Galaxy A54 March 2025 update

Samsung is rolling out a new software update for Galaxy A54 handset users that installs the February 2025 security patch. Meanwhile, the company is busy developing the stable One UI 7 for more devices and regions around the world.

According to the information, the Galaxy A54 is getting the February 2025 update with One UI version A546BXXSBCYB1. Although there is no information about the package size, we suggest keeping at least 500MB free in your internal storage section.

The company has kicked off the latest security patch with a bunch of fixes and safety improvements. The update is currently rolling out Europe and may expand to other countries and regions soon. Eventually, the February 2025 patch resolves 1 critical and 34 high levels of vulnerabilities, hiding in the device system.

On the other side, it fixes 7 Samsung-specific privacy exploits found in the previous software version. The firmware is focused on protecting your device from harmful bugs and malware that often cause system crashes, freezing, lagging, and even data loss.

These rollouts confirm that your device cannot be affected by malicious bugs or privacy exploits. It protects your important data from threats and vulnerabilities hidden in the Samsung Find app, Android application component settings, and various other modules of the device system.

Apart from the security fixes, no additional changes are seen in the changelog. However, the February 2025 security patch is all that you should look for. Hence, we recommend you download the latest firmware that appears on your phone’s notification panel.

You can further install the respective One UI version by heading towards Settings > tap on Software Updates. Thereafter, follow the on-screen instructions to check for the latest firmware.

Recently, the Korean tech giant also released the same update for Galaxy A13 5G in Europe, you can identify the new update through the One UI build version A136BXXSADYB1.

Samsung Galaxy One UI 7

In Korea, Samsung has kicked off the Android 15-based One UI 7 update for the Galaxy S23 series, Galaxy S24 FE, Tab S10, Galaxy Tab S9, Galaxy  Z Fold5, and Galaxy Z Flip5. The update follows the One UI 7 deployment for Galaxy S24 series and Galaxy  Z Fold5, as well as Galaxy Z Flip5 users in the same region, which began earlier.

These users are among the first to experience this update, which promises a smoother, more intuitive experience with a refined user interface, improved performance, enhanced privacy controls, and new customization options that align with Samsung’s vision for a seamless and intuitive user experience.

One UI 7 comes with a brand new look for your Galaxy S23 series, Galaxy S24 FE, Tab S10, Galaxy Tab S9, Galaxy Z Fold5, and Galaxy Z Flip5, including a sleeker user interface, smoother animations for maximum interactions, and an improved flow across the system.

Over the next few days and weeks, the Korean tech giant will open up the One UI 7 distribution to older flagships like the Galaxy S22 and S21 series, Galaxy Z Flip 4/3, and Z Fold 4/3.

To note, the company has started the US rollout for select devices, including the S24 series, Z Fold6, and Z Flip6 from April 10, but the Galaxy S23 series, Galaxy S24 FE, Tab S10, Galaxy Tab S9, Galaxy Z Fold5, and Galaxy Z Flip5 and others are still pending. The company’s phased approach prioritises flagships, with mid-range devices like the Galaxy A-series scheduled for June.

Your device should send a notification for a software upgrade. In the meantime, you can manually get the latest software from Samsung’s servers by navigating through Settings > Software update > Download and install.

Galaxy S22 One UI 7

Samsung users can try out One UI 7 on the Galaxy S22 Plus virtually. The update’s rollout hasn’t yet begun, but the company is moving towards kicking off a public rollout next month. Samsung’s latest RTL refresh brings One UI 7 to the  Galaxy S22 series, but users may be disappointed as they miss out on 5 major AI features with One UI 7.

One UI 7 is available on the Galaxy S25 series, Galaxy S24 series, the Galaxy Z Fold 6, and Galaxy Z Flip 6. Notably, the latest flagships exclusively run the Stable One UI 7, last year’s flagships have Beta access to the software, and the Galaxy S22+ is eligible for RTL.

The RTL listing was recently updated as a video spread on Reddit and X that shows One UI 7 running on a Galaxy S22+ using Samsung’s Remote Test Lab.

The video reveals that the update for the S22 series will not include many of the cutting-edge AI features found in Samsung’s latest Galaxy S25 series.

  • Audio Eraser
  • Drawing Assist
  • Now Brief
  • Drawing Assist
  • Writing Assist

This development suggests that One UI 7 is ready for numerous Galaxy devices. The stable rollout is expected to begin early next month for the Galaxy S22 series and is expected to expand quickly.
