Samsung One UI 7 beta 3 removed some apps from Now Bar Settings UI

Samsung has introduced One UI 7 beta with a brand new feature called Now Bar and it displays colorful live notifications for ongoing activities, such as music or video playback, navigation, and an active timer, on the lock screen and the notification shade. With the One UI 7 beta 3, Samsung has shuffled the Now Bar settings UI and removed some apps from the Live Notification section.
Now Bar is one of the best new features in the One UI 7 update, which aims to enhance your interactions with key tasks while increasing one-hand reachability across the screen.
Now, Samsung removed some apps from the Now Bar Settings UI with the One UI 7 beta 3. Before the latest beta update, Now Bar works with numerous applications and services including:
- Clock (Stopwatch and Timer)
- Voice Recorder
- Emergency sharing
- Samsung Health
- Interpreter
- Google maps
- Samsung Notes
- Bixby
One UI 7 Beta 3 Now Bar changes
The Now Bar’s Live Notifications UI is now completely redesigned by adding the three large images at the top side, highlighting the Now bar on the lock screen in three ways. The menu has the following description.
“Make notifications for ongoing activities more visible. Live notifications will appear on the Lock screen, on the status bar, and at the top of the notification panel.”
The latest Now Bar settings UI listed only four apps and services such as:
- Samsung Health
- Interpreter
- Clock
- Emergency sharing
Samsung community moderators explained this, saying, “We intentionally removed some NavBar elements as improvements, and are planning to bring them back with the official version of One UI 7 after making some improvements.

One UI 7 Now Bar
The Now Bar is a small pill-shaped widget that appears at the bottom of the lock screen. It sits between two shortcut buttons and expands to use the entire space in between to show you key live information at a glimpse.
